Same, all my files are tagged with mp3tag, they play correctly, it just scans all of them every time i get in the car.

Can you share the folder structure it made?

Hi all, I bought my 5 series a week ago, and i'm loving it. It's my first ev. The only thing I can't solve is the usb music rescanning all my files (64 gig - 5k files) every time the car is turned on. Is there a special way to structure the usb stick? (tried formatting ntfs/fat etc... no help)...

I have a lot of mp3's on a 64 gig stick, approx 5K. The usb always scans the entire disk, and each song when I enter the car and press usb. Is there a way around this? Do I need to put the files in a folder or specific directory structure? I tried formatting in different file systems, didn't...
