I wasn't accusing you of lying, but naturally I have to bear in mind that you could be mistaken. I already said that I'd be trying it for myself, although it's since been confirmed that SuperSport mode disables regen.

I like one pedal drive, been using it for years on our EV6. I will try it for myself, but I doubt that use of it reduces the acceleration. It certainly doesn't on the EV6, where the current applied power can be displayed on the dash. In any case, surely super-sport mode would override any...

Still there with the fake engine sound off, but didn't think to disable one pedal mode. Will definitely try. It's booked in for the badge to be replaced, so I'll ask about a software update and also mention the whine. Thanks to all who commented. I will report back.

Collected our new Cyberster GT from a local dealership ten days ago; immediately discovered that the 'Cyberster' boot badge had a damaged 't' but at least we showed the salesman before we drove off (a replacement badge has been ordered). Unfortunately the lower front of the car was then struck...

Thank you. I saw your post a couple of days ago and so checked carefully when collecting our Cyberster today, only to discover that the 't' is broken. I then checked the display model in the showroom and that has a broken 'b'. They will be in touch when the new badge has arrived.

Yes, so a £4.5k saving.. I transferred the requested £2k deposit earlier, so hopefully it'll be our new company car sometime 'towards the end of next week'. It's in New English White, which is the default (no cost) colour chosen by my wife with a black soft top. Looks really nice.

The salesman we saw on Wednesday has offered to match the Autotrader deal, so thats 7.5% off. Plus they've also dropped the requirement for it to be a personal sale. As it's in stock and our nearest dealer we've agreed to buy... Just need to pay a £2k deposit when I get home!

That Autotrader offer appears to be a great deal; my wife wants to call them and put down a deposit without delay! We were actually offered a discount on Wednesday, but only 3%. The problem is, this was conditional upon us buying it personally rather than our limited company. Not sure why.

As you say, we were offered 0% finance but with a huge deposit. I think it was 50% (!) but my hearing's a bit dodgy and we weren't very interested in such a deal as it'll be a company purchase.

Indeed! The dealer even has a GT in stock in the colour we wanted but we resisted the urge to place a deposit to give us a chance to see what other deals might be available elsewhere.

My wife and I test drove a GT yesterday; what a lovely beast! Only disappointment was how MG have managed to arrange things so the steering wheel partially obscures the outermost dash displays. Has anyone got any words of warning before we pull the trigger? We've had an EV6 for nearly three...
