So been and charged the car to 95% and I'm showing miles of 206?
Does this sound right? When I bought the car it was charged to 100% and showing a distance of 299 miles. Can 5% charge make that much difference or do I need to worry.

Thanks in advance

There's likely nothing to worry about. The range is an estimate based on the calculated charge and your recent driving efficiency.
A couple of questions:
  • When did you last charge to 100%?
  • How have you driven over the last few miles? Have you had the AC on?

Not charged to 100% for about a week. Been getting about 4.1kwh per mile.
Done a few motorway drives this week with the Aircon on as well.

Reset all your trip counters, put itvin ready mode with everything turn off and in ECO mode and see what you can get.

All sounds normal. The range indicator is just a guess based on recent driving. I've seen 290 miles, followed the next day by 220 miles.

Your car is fine.

I often get only 95% charge if I use rapid chargers regularly - which I tend to as I don't have home charging. Stick it on a 7kw and it sorts itself, something to do with balancing the cells or something.

I was driving "spiritedly" over the weekend and my latest 100% charge only showed a range of 187 miles on my LR!! :) It's usually been around 240 since about May.

But I know the reason.... LOL

If you want a more accurate “Prediction” offered by the GOM ( because purely, that is what it is ) then reset both of your trip counters before commencing a charge.
The GOM will report your “Predicted Range” based on a number of factors based on the historical data stored by the car.
This will be drawn these figures from a using different conditions, such as weather, previous driving styles etc etc.

Conversely, having been a highly boring driver recently, my latest 100% charge showed 320 miles! I recently did a 190 mile trip (mostly 60 mph on motorways and A roads) and used 72% battery which I was really pleased with.
