When its empty it's not a major issue but if everyone had the discipline to park/drive/ behave reasonably there would be little conflict needed. My local Asda has one set of disabled bays opposite the ATMs which are frequently used by drivers "just getting some money out" even if it is the last bay available. Even better are those that park in the middle blocking some 6 bays for the same reason. Technically they are not in a reserved bay but just to save a few steps they want to be obstructive, again not a real issue if the driver is in the car to move it but often its the driver that has gone to the machine.
The EV bays had to have plastic cones in front asking people to leave them free unless charging. I was just coming out when I heard the Tannoy paging for a driver, a few minutes later a man came stomping out cursing because he had to move his (non-electric) VW T4 campervan off the charging bay and park elsewhere
Yesterday I parked up (in a bay) next to a white Verso which was bang over the junction of 4 bays making them all unusable! Why??
