MG ZS EV Shipping Updates

Even though I've got a couple of months to wait, it's strangely comforting to see so many coming through now albeit the wait is starting to test my patience a little. Maybe it'll be a nice Christmas present from me to myself. 🎅😁:cool:
 
That’s all I need to hear, 3 months and it’ll be a year since I placed my order..
Ridiculous that they’re prioritising the new car over existing orders.
Cancellation not mentioned on the two occasions i spoke to my supplier since i ordered the car. Car ordered same week in May that MG suspended taking further orders for ZS EV. I queried with my salesman at that time whether my order would go through and he said that it had. Also told him that i was aware from this Forum that people had been waiting up to six months with still no sign of delivery dates. He seemed pretty confident on a September delivery and i am surprised that he has been proved correct. My purchase was a part exchange cash balance transaction. Whether that speeded up delivery i do not know but following this Forum over the past few months it seems that lease transactions through 3rd parties are the ones suffering most delays.
I ordered mine the weekend before they suspended orders, was told it would be September and then a few weeks ago, was told 30 weeks from order
 
Hi all. I have been avoiding this for quite a while now. I ordered with rgw back in December. The service I received from them regarding updates has been shocking. I told them that and they cancelled my order in July. Went to the bvrla and they said they can decide who they want to do business with. Don't even think they read the contract I received where no where fo they reserve the rights to cancel my order. At the time I was devastated but I soon ordered a new car. Went for a tucson plug in n line. Cracking big car. But it's not the point. I have missed out on the government grant because I made a complaint about their services. I would therefore plead with anyone waiting on a car from rgw to watch what they say. They can't wait to cancel orders and give them to another customer. During the phone call with Graham waller, rgw owner he said my order will make another customer very happy. And that I could take him to court if I wanted. Don't know if I want to yet. Might just slaughter his business online with reviews. So again everyone please don't pester them and enjoy your car when you get it 👍👍

Some people just don’t like to hear the truth about their poor customer service.

Speaking on a personally basis here, I have forgotten how many cars I have bought over the years.
If I walk into a showroom, within ten minutes I will instinctively know if I want to deal with that particular dealer or not !.
Or I will vote with my feet and take my business elsewhere !.
My gut feeling has never let me down.

I totally agree. I'm glad im not doing business with them anymore, was reading on another thread that they are hiking prices before delivery. Absolute cowboys!!
 
Mine is 300007xxxx and is in production and expected in December.
Mine is also 300007 was ordered 19/01/22 was advised last week by MG UK by email usual:

"Your vehicle order status is currently ‘shortage awaiting build’. Unfortunately, we cannot provide an exact delivery date until production is confirmed, hence, the dealer cannot provide you with a date either. Please note: We cannot provide a timescale of when production is completed."​

Order another car in parallel and keep pestering your local dealers. There is a wave of cancellations happening as people switch models
 
Drove past a truck load of MG4's maybe they are for dealers or lucky customers?

My# blue tclr has arrived at Glyn Hopkins Romford road now waiting for the phone call “ Come and get it”. But as I sold my Mitsubushi to Motorway they will have to deliver it next week. Not sure that I want my first outing to be 165 miles each way. I think I will use SWMBO’s fusion ICE mobile.
 
So got around to popping into the dealership to get my ordered number…told it was ordered on 28/1/22..I ordered it on 19/12/21 and I guess they got around to putting it in on the 28th January..said I hadn’t been waiting all that long, I mean it’s only been 10 months, to be told I should get it soon, said I’m not holding my breath..told its now got a 30 week lead time..so about 6 months, I said thats good as I’ve only been waiting 10 months..which sort of shut him up..was offered a black ZS EV customer cancellation, umm..SE…no thanks..he did ask why I wanted the order number, told him I was going to email MGUK and ask why it’s taking so long to get my car…anyway order number…3000081***

also had a look at the MG4…boot so small, won’t get golf clubs in there without having to put the seats down..also seem a bit dark inside and don’t really like the front of it..

and to rub salt into the wound…they had a Silver ZSEV trophy sitting outside as a demo car..same as I ordered..it’ll be about another 3 or 4 months before they sell it off..

Just emailed them using the email NutNut had posted…let’s see what I get back? Did say I guess I’ll get the normal cut and paste reply everyone else seems to get..
