I just had my new MG ZS EV 2022 for almost a week. So, I am still learning about the car.

Does anyone know if and how I can save the driving mode and KERS mode so that for the next trip I don't have to make the same selections again?
For instance, I'd like use ECO driving mode and KERS set to 2. However, the car seems to always default to NORMAL driving mode and KERS set to 3.

The other question I have is about the equilisation charge. The manual states that you need to use a SLOW charge. Does that mean by using the 3-pin plug and 3kW charger that came with the car or can the equilisation charge also be done with the 7 kW home charger? Obviously a 22 kW or 50 kW commercial charger would be considered rapid chargers?

Thanks in advance.

No you can't save the driving modes as you say it defaults to normal and KERS 3. And the equalisation charge I believe can be done on the 3kw and the 7kw.

Anything under 50kw will do an equalisation i believe. Rapid is only 50kw and above. Fast and Slow and 50kw and below. Basically if you use the Type 2 cable, it will equalise.

Not exactly right we are limited to 7kw AC with mg here in UK but in other countrys are different so mg say slow charge for equalisation so that is max 7kw AC so it looks like it will only work on a single phase?

Reading the manual again it states:

Generally 50 kW uses CCS Type plugs so that would then be considered Rapid.
The manual also states:

So, according to this, 7 kW and below is needed for an equalisation charge.
