Hi everyone. I have noticed that even though the settings in my car have the walkaway lights as on, as soon as I lock the car with the remote or by pressing the button on the car, the lights go off. I thought they are expected to stay for a some time, as normal walkaway lights as supposed to do? Anyone else have this problem? Or is there something else I am supposed to do? Any advice will be extremely helpful. Thank you!

You normally have to pull the lighting lever (after you have switched off) to trigger this function.

You have to move one of the storks, have a look in the user manual to find the one

Sorry, didnt quite understand this - on the settings I have this function activated. Do you mean that when the lights are on, I need to do pull the lighting lever everytime I get out of the car after dark?

It's detailed on page 35 of the manual:

Ah, very clear! Thank you very much - really appreciate it! It is though strange that this additional step needs to be followed - in my other car and earlier cars, this was automatic.
If you ask me that manual page looks a bit ambiguous. Do you need to enable it on infotainment AND pull the headlight stalk to activate?

Yes, but not all steps every time. Once activated on the menu, you only need to pull the light switch (as if flashing main beam) after you've turned the car off when you wish to use the function.

It's still a stupid idea to pull the stalk before leaving..... I have it activated but comeon! Who thinks of that stalk when U leave the car ? I don't.....
