Hello,

I am thinking of selling my MK2 ZS EV SE privately.

It is a 72 reg and I want to sell in towards the end of January.

I just wanted to know the process of selling it privately as I have never done it before.

Thanks

Not necessarily people don't like to pay that sort of money without a dealer facilities like warranties and come back

A relative was selling his two year old, low mileage Merc to make way for his first new EV about two years ago.
He tried a couple of the usual places, and he was advised to give the suppling dealer of the car a call.
They offered him more to take the car back, then any of the other offers.
Your car is so new and demand is so high, it’s worth asking ?.
He has just replaced that first EV with another new EV.
The dealer offered the same price as the usual on line places.

I agree.
The warranty should be transferable, but I think with a private sale, at that value, you looking at a much smaller limited market.
Dealers are in a position that they can offer finance terms etc.
With private buyers you are looking at a cash sale, likely via a personal loan.
These type of buyers are more limited in numbers these days.
Lease / PCP deals are much more fashionable.

Fortune 👍🏻 right time, any old place

Just checked my ZS Trophy LR registered at the end of June 2022 with 1500 Miles on the clock. Motorway are currently suggesting £30205. When I bought the car I sold my previous car through them and got more than their estimate and a good £2500 more than WBAC. I would happily use them again.

When you sold your car on motorway was there much difference in the estimated price and the actual sold price.

It was my previous car I sold. As I remember WBAC offered around £27000, Motorway suggested £29000 and I eventually got £29700. A very painless transaction and there was no quibbling when they picked it up and paid straight into my bank account.

I sold my Mitsubushi PHEV 64 plate for £11,000 on motorway. Same as the dealer offered. Sold it early as the MOT was due before change over day. Saved £40 😉😉 hassle free
