What's the satnav like. I'm not sure if I'm imagining it but read somewhere that it was adapted to a left handed drive system and seems a bit wacky and out of sync coming up to roundabouts?
Thanks. Maybe I am. Not really sure. It was a couple weeks ago I saw that I think and looking for the post but couldn't find it. Can remember it being said as you put it "being set up for LHD" but certain there was something about out of sync at roundabouts. Maybe I'm conflating two posts..I've used the satnav a few times seems alright to me, menus easy enough to use.
Once I have had it show my location about 500meters out. Not had this again.
I did see a post re android auto having the nav on the right and music to it's left. Someone referred to that as being set up for left hand drive, could you be confused with that
It was car play that I had remembered a post referencing LHD settings, here it is so nothing to do with android auto. Thanks Oberoi. Loving the MG4 more everyday. Sometimes March seems so far away then when I think of all the issues it seems so close.
Hope MG sort things out ASAP for all.
I’ve just figured it out as mine done the same, if you’re swipe to the left where it says accept, it scrolls itsself down, very odd but then you cba check all three boxesHi Sue, many thanks for your swift reply and yep we did. Whenever we checked any of those boxes (or all) it was impossible to press Agree button (inactive).
Pressing Deny button, in any case, was active, and takes you to a message saying related functions being denied....so, impossible to proceed if any of the boxes was checked for agreement. Either it is a system error, or the car dealer did not enable certain functionalities, I guess.
Waiting for the car dealer to respond to my email...will let you know the outcome.
I got it.... Don't use the privacy bit to scroll. Use the bottom of the screen instead.I can't for the life of me get any checkbox to appear at the bottom of the privacy policy... I've tried EVERYTHING even a factory reset.
So at that stage, swipe left or right on the text and you will see the boxes come up that people are talking about - its odd, but if you swipe at the bottom it will come up and then you can agreeHi Sue, many thanks for your swift reply and yep we did. The comment is buried somewhere in the comments section. It was an owners own thoughts on the car.
After many frustrating attempts to activate the nav, I followed your guidance, and it’s now enabled and running. Thank you for your help, much appreciated. It's a little potty, but having accepted permissions in Privacy section of Settings, scroll the page down further and check boxes appear below the current screen. Well hidden!
There you will be able to enable voice and sat navigation.
