Vicky had a work trip today

Just over 260 miles from home to Watford and back 4 site visits in total

M1 250 miles just over 10 miles on local roads

Left fully charged. Got home with 5% in the battery

Was expecting her to stop and charge on way back but she decided not to bother killed heat for last 20mins and got home with 5%

Think that’s really good for a dank cold day

Economy seems to be a bit better than expected now after it’s done a couple of thousand miles

Would have expected similar results from the EV6 77kw in this sort of weather

That's pretty good! Bodes well for the range when the weather eventually warms up again.

Yeah she was helped by slow traffic on way back on m1. But think we should see wltp in warm weather

One good thing is the MG4 fuel gauge seems to be linear in our Kia EV6 and Kona the top half of the gauge lasted longer than the lower half (think it’s because it’s voltage based). In the MG4 top half and bottom half were equal which seems the sensible way to do it

Sounds like she needs to join the Zero Heroes Club pushing it that low lol she did well on the total miles though. 👌🏻👍🏻

She does so many miles that she gets a feel for them but being a new car takes a little while to work out how far you can push it and if it drops quicker in the last few percent. But she has said she is happy to push it low. Was no loss of power at 5% but a bit annoying that the remaining range vanished and went to - - - prefer ones that keep showing the range right to the end

Why the hell do manufacturers do that ? It's like a type of passive aggressive punishment for being naughty.
''we warned you, now we're turning the lights off and locking up - you're on your own.'' 😲

There are so many variables that affect the range that if the car says you've got 10 miles of range left and you only manage 6 because it's all uphill or you get stuck in traffic on a freezing day and you have to have the heater on you'd be really p'd off.

She's got more nerves than I have. Well done to her 😁

Saw that, he knew his stuff as well, his knowledge after all those years and models of EV's was really exceptional.
