I smart app

I get the same - but it brings the GPS locator back. :)

Update: I unlocked/locked the car with the key then tried scanning again and all was OK. It seems the car may have been in a deep sleep. :)

I haven't got my car yet, so I haven't tried binding iSmart to it yet (Duh!), but I have set up my account on it ok, but does anyone else find that when attempting to enter a nickname (My Profile > My Information > Nickname) that it only displays a numeric keypad, no alphabet.
I am not a number! (anyone else old enough to remember that?) :)
The nickname issue is only seen on Android devices.
The app on iOS devices let's you use alphabets for the nickname field.
 
Has anyone successfully registered their mobile number on the iSmart app?
 
Annoyingly when I first registered I used just my phone number, I’ve since forgotten the password and the “forgot password” section never sends me a verification text message despite it saying “ successfully sent “.

Anyone successfully reset their password that had initially registered with their phone number ?

I’ve tried MG uk to no avail, tried my dealer but they have let me down as “they don’t deal with the app” well who does ?

I know I've set this in here before and almost certainly on 1.1.7, can't say for sure but I think the update to 1.1.8 maybe stopped it and I've just gone to 1.1.9 this morning and still the same. Tried to change whilst charging and not charging. Closed and opened the app after update.
Glad to see the App being updated regularly.

Looking at your range figures it seems to me that you're driving an SR SE? If so, I believe they removed the charge level adjuster for the SR, still there for the LR and Trophy.

Mine is 1.1.9 ... I have an SE SR and do not have a battery charge limit option. It was the same in 1.1.8 and 1.1.7.

Perhaps I started with an earlier version than 1.1.7 then as I know I've slid the percentage up and down. It's not the end of the world, I just came across a situation where I would have used it recently. Think I'll have to accept its now not an SE feature.
Did check for version release notes but couldn't find any.

Ditto - when I first got my car I had the slider in the app ... I even commented about it in this forum ... but next time I checked it had gone (and has remained gone).
 
Anyone else noticed that the latest version of the app no longer has a Feedback option? (Or if it still does - where is it?)
 
Have you tried unlocking/locking the car using the remote fob? (That usually works for me when this happens).
 
No, not yet, I'll try to see what happens tomorrow. The car hasn't been used for a day or so.
I imagine in order to prevent excessive battery drain after a period the connection module goes to sleep.

We have issues at work with vans with trackers that if not driven for 3-4days as they're wired into the permanently powered part of the 12v system the battery is dead and as its been fully drained usually useless and needs replacing. So staff on leave are usually asked to turn over the van every few days for 10min or so
