Just had word my trophy long range is late February 23 fingers cross but I ordered last February. I wonder if now I will get a 23 plate on it

Tell the dealer you want a '23 plate if that's your preference... It should be a simple thing for them to accommodate - especially after all this waiting.

Picked my LR up yesterday just over 12 months from order but stuck it out for the great original price. ConnectEd to the app this morning, showing 250 miles on the gom. All rosey in the garden at the moment

You have to be close now surely….. i ordered a petrol one jan 2022 which i cancelled for the ev in may…. (Typical woman), im now convinced itll have a 23 plate

Am in New Zealand, not the UK, but looked at a ZS EV "Essence" (which is the top-spec model name in NZ) a few weeks ago. Signed the paper-work today and have been told to expect the car in a couple of weeks just after new year. Car is in the country, they just have a lot to get out to customers. Seems in NZ at least they got a larger allocation, sooner than expected. When we first spoke to the dealer they said we could expect to get our vehicle end of Q1 2023, now the delivery has moved forward by 3 months.

Well I’ve cancelled, can’t be bothered waiting anymore. I ordered in June, was told it was a stock order and was on the boat and I would have it by latest August. Obviously that was a lie and it has never arrive. I know people on here have waited a lot longer but after believing that the dealership intentionally lied, I’m no longer hanging around.

The dealership put up no fight and said I can have my deposit back but said “it could be here next month” - I don’t believe them.

Ordered a SR Trophy White in April through a leasing company, told Oct, then told Dec/Jan, then told just Dec thinking I was to expect it then, now told TBA and soonest could be Feb 23… I’m waiting anyway but I’m a bit lost on what to do, what to ask, I feel I’ve done everything a customer can do to escalate the situation and keep feeling like I keep getting fobbed off. Think I’m going to give emailing [email protected] a go to try find out some info.

are you able to get an order number from the lease company

Not sure how your lease company can give dates when the status is TBA. I was stuck on that status for 9 months, until changing ‘manufacturer country’. That said as I’m sure you have seen on this forum some received there car’s much quicker than others. Some are still waiting since 2021. Good luck and keep pushing the lease company

Ordered MGZS EV LR in March 2022, given Aug/Sept delivery, had phone call from dealer in Aug, been put back to March. Asked is that a definite, they replied a possibility. Tried Ford,Vauxhall and 2 other brands, all gave 12months from order. Decided to stick it out.

Not sure if it helps but I ordered same time as you and was told the same recently. I switched to an MG5 Facelift which suited my needs better anyway. I have the registration papers now and just waiting for the car to be delivered from the port to dealer.

So today I graduated not a mg but well happy with going ahead cancelling and this coming so quickly.

OctopusEV have just informed me that MG have officially announced that they are prioritising other models over the MG ZS

and are advising that I
1. Switch to the MG4 for Q1 delivery or
2. Rent a car in the mean time (I'm borrowing a van) for possible March delivery or
3. Cancel
