Have you checked the fuse?

Both my front and rears stopped working after the freezing weather we've just had. BOTH fuses had blown (engine compartment fuse box fuses F15 and F20, both 10a). It seems if you try the washers when the pump is frozen the fuse immediately blows. Good, I guess, to protect the pumps, but I've never had that on any other car when the washers have frozen.

The guy I spoke to when buying new fuses in a car accessory shop said the exact same had happened to their own vans and they had raided their own stock of fuses to get their vans back on the road. Maybe it's a thing with more modern vehicles being better protected.

My advice is if the temperature going down like last week then empty the washer bottle and refill will screen wash that can take that temperature

Probably not a bad idea with the benefit of hindsight (although the washers did have a normally adequate concentration of screen wash in them).
However, snow started on Sunday evening and by the morning we had 5 inches plus temperatures of minus 5 overnight and so I suspect the pumps were already frozen. We then had a complete week when nothing thawed. Pretty extreme weather for us which I hope we won't see again for a while!

Mine's just packed in .. useful info. Will look tomorrow.

It was the fuse on mine. Probably because I was a bit over-optimistic expecting it to work when frozen.

10 amp mini fuse, F15 in the holder under the bonnet on the right.

Mine done exactly the same during the cold spell and replaced both fuses, rear washer still not flowing but motor working. Cannot see any fluid under the car so assume the jet is blocked. Not had time yet to look closer
