Had my car recovered by AA for HV battery fault which happened whilst driving the car. All the usual repair option failed and the car is now at the garage (main MG dealer in Scotland). Having spoken to the dealer I may have a long wait as they have 10 recovered cars needing diagnosed/repaired ahead of mine.

Reading others posts about long repairs, I wanted to get a feel if people are being given loan vehicles or not when their car is in for a warranty repair.

Ten cars in front of yours !.
Are these all EV's I wonder ?.
Our ZS EV had to be recovered to the local dealer by the A.A. when the N/S/R handbrake would not release.
The car was diagnosed with a stripped out / failed handbrake motor.
New hand brake actuator motor and complete brake calliper ordered and a hire car delivered from a local hire company, the following day after MG after sales agreed to supply a car.
We had the hire car for 3 days short of month.
The price of the parts where about £160.00 and about 2 hours of labour I guess.
The cost of the hire car is unknown, but not a lot of change out of £1,500.00 I would imagine.
We spent about £150.00 on Derv in this time.

I think the 10 are EV's - the dealership is a highly reputable main MG EV dealer in Scotland, so they will be the go to place for MG EV issues

Got a courtesy car, when I get mine back then I'll know whether it's medium or long term; currently at medium.

My car was with the dealer for 19 days. No courtesy car but then again I didn't actually ask for one!

My car was with the with the dealer for 21 days from before Xmas to a week ago. Asked for courtesy car virtually every day, none available. Was told we were at the top of the list for when one became available - but it came back before we got a vehicle. Then it failed again.

I have had my car in for various things in the last 8 months... always have had a courtesy car and everything has been done under warranty. I guess a lot of it boils down to the dealer and their availability of loan cars

Been over a month now waiting for parts apparently; so have voted for long term! Feel lucky to have got a brand new MG5 (although not facelift) but am missing having the car I ordered.
