Hi Folks,
I`m new to this forum (first post) loving my MG 4 Trophy at the moment ! But I think I might have a problem with the windows when the car is locked up. I have noticed the rear windows have dropped slightly and the front passenger window was dropped fully one night making the passenger seat soaking wet. I`m pretty sure all windows have been shut each time (I am monitoring). Has anyone else had this issue?

Neil

I think another member posted the same issue a while back, sure he was in a supermarket car park and came back and the rear window was down

I have had the same problem. Both rear windows down by about 6cm overnight. Passenger window down by about 1cm on another night. I put it down to accidently pressing on the window switches when getting out the car. The switches are quite sensitive. An audible warning when you lock the car would be helpful.

I've come back to the car a couple of times with the drivers side rear window slightly down, I put it down to catching the switches on my way out too, but not sure now with a few reports

Enjoying my trophy apart for some minor issues with the infotainment system . I had the passenger side window completely open after returning from a walk yesterday. Thanks I will now keep an eye on this when locking. Thought it was my age ! 😳

I was going to suggest the key being pressed but this seems like a different issue if its only 1 window going down. Surely if the button was being pressed when getting out you would hear the window moving

I wonder if the anti-trap needs resetting.
Page 73 of the owner's manual says:
Note: If the battery is disconnected, the “One-Touch” Up and “Anti-Trap” features will lost. To restore this feature, fully close the window and hold the switch for 5 seconds in the closed position, fully open the window and press the switch for another 5 seconds.

Happened to me twice now. First time was front nearside which was down a couple of centimetres. That could have been me accidentally pressing the window buttons on exiting the car. Today the rear offside was open a tiny bit. I doubt that I have accidentally caught the switches this time as I am now very mindful of this. One to monitor

Had the same issue twice, but I was out of the country and came back to a car with a soaked passenger seat, can't recreate the effect. Tried holding down the remote buttons. It would be useful if that was a feature on the app - for cooling in summer and closing them when it is raining. remotely

I've not had this myself, but it would be worth checking all the windows when locking the car to see if any switches had accidently been pressed :)

I think a few have been because of this, but as members have said they are mindful of this and it's still happening. Seems yet another foible of the car

I'm still convinced it's down to accidentally catching the switches on the way out. I've done it twice now.
One of the many issues raised with my MG dealer recently. I thought the driver's door window control buttons were too high and that I'd inadvertently pressed one or more buttons on getting out of the car. Now I'm wondering if there is fault causing windows to open.

Yes, I had the same the other day, thinking I'd touched the rear opening button when I got out the car.

My wife found this had happened on the passenger front window, we put it down to mis pressing the buttons whilst exiting the car. Now not so sure. We will watch out for it.

Wife came home tonight and it appeared the rear near side window had opened all on its own.
I have seen a comment about this before but it may of been on Facebook, anybody else had a similar problem?

For the 2nd time this morning I have found the drivers side rear window open about 25 mm it happen a few week ago but thought nothing off it, and I said to my wife just check before you lock up the windows are closed and she swears she has been checking but this morning we have a very small pool of water on the floor in the rear foot well plus a wet rear seat as any one else had anything like this
