What software updates would you like to see in the MG ZS EV 2022 model?

What software updates would you like to see in the MG ZS EV 2022 model? Both the in the app and in the car.

Personally, in the car, I would like to see the regen work when in cruise control, and the speed limiter would be accessible on the cruise control stick from the start ( I now have to enter the menu to activate it.)
I would like to see the temperature on the dashboard when I'm in Apple Carplay, I drove through a mountain pass where the temperature went from 4°C to 0°C.
I honestly miss some colors on the entertainment system, if not standard, at least let it be an option.
I'm not a UX designer for radio systems in cars, but I usually ends up listening to one single channel or using Apple Carplay for radio - so I would like to see chances there. There is also a weird bug with NRK(norway radio) where I'm not allowed to favorite them. I can make favorites with commercial channels, but not with the NRK. Do some of you have trouble with BBC?
I am confused about how the battery heating works if you want to activate it before charging.
I would love the MG piolet to be gentler/intelligent to hold the lane, instead of: Wops! That was close call. It feels like it has been off and then it suddenly takes over. Especially on narrow roads.

In the app: I would like to regulate the temperature on the climate control. I don't have that many issues with the app, it works pretty good actually, would love to see more features I didn't know I wanted.

I would like to see profiles added that you could save prefferred settings. Includes LKA etc
Also the app appears to disconnect after a few days of car inactivity, I would like it to stay connected regardless of how long the car remains idle.

Then I would love for that to be included in the Norwegian app, because in my app there ain't any HVAC, up in the right corner it's empty.

It's only available after you switch on AC from app 1st here in the UK anyway

LKA available without cruise control. Auto dip full beam available as a toggle. I'd like the radio to turn on automatically if I left it on previously.

I'd like the satnav to stop deleting my address. I'd like the car to stop thinking it's 01/01/19 every other day

There is a update for this now it also stops service reminder every 600 miles

I take it your phone is connected to Bluetooth if you switch off media play on your phones Bluetooth options then on start up radio come on where you left it

I don't use Bluetooth music. The radio is visible but I have to press the play button or the steering wheel button two times. I usually have the radio on all the time to remind me to lock the doors when parked.

You don't need Bluetooth music for this
On your phones Bluetooth find the car then click on the cog (if no cog it can be an (i) )then switch off media audio

I mean I don't have Bluetooth on my phone normally, so I don't think the phone is causing it. I'll play about with it later and see if it works though.

You get your scenario if you use Android auto btw
I've also found if you use Android auto just once it automatically pays your phone with Bluetooth next time your in the car which could be your problem?

Try sitting in the car with your phone in the house or turned off and see if that has any effect.

I was actually surprised how strong the Bluetooth signal is my car still picks up the phone in the house

Still waiting for my new ZS but I would love to see wireless careplay. I would also love to see a changelog list.

I'd like to see the battery temperature displayed in the car info screen where other battery details are displayed, that way you'll know when to put on the battery heating.

1. Wireless Android auto / Apple carplay.

2. Ability for more profiles to be logged in at the same time in the app.

3. Seat and wing mirrors to be auto adjusting dependent on user.

4. A Satnav that is able to pronounce street names in other languages than English, it is rather hilarious when it tries to pronounce most Danish street names. ("Klitgade" for example becomes "Clit gate" which makes me chuckle a lot more than i really should )

5. Regen on ACC

6. Generally, updates to the infotainment so that it does not have so many spelling errors, and quirks.

7. Ability to update all systems in the car via OTA, instead of only the infotainment, would negate the 280 kilometer round trip to the nearest MG workshop that can actually update these modules.

8. That MG would do actual OTA, not just say "The car supports it" but then not actually doing any updates.

Some feature upgrades would be nice (that have already been mentioned).

The most important thing will likely not be fixed, and that's the fact that the UI itself is not fit for purpose in an automotive setting. The slidey buried stuff needs to go and basic settings should be accessible via an instrument binnacle based menu with steering wheel button control like almost every other car on the market - it's a safety issue.

It's a mess, and needs redesigning and rebuilding from the ground up; complete with an English localisation that's done by somebody with a solid grasp of written English and Chinese.

The overuse of touch screens in cars I find really annoying & definitely not safe to use when driving.

At least we can do temp and fan change without the screen
