Hi, to date we rarely needed to charge as virtually all travel is well within the 200 mile winter and 250 mile summer ranges and our Zapi fine for this( idiosyncrasies and all, eventually it charges)
However the few times we did it was rare to not have issues in payment by app.
So on a trip to the New Forrest( 35 miles away), just tried the GridServe.
Expecting issues AND all was straightforward not a glitch so simple.
As I have a few trips coming up from Fareham to Birmingham, could I be advised of the more reliable and simple charging suppliers.
Unless now 8 months into ownership the charge/ payment is simpler.
PS I also see the Zappi map/ app can be a payment means- is this thru PayPal and for all/ most charge suppliers.
Thank you

I can only public charge and I have found the Electric Verse (Octypus energy) card to be my first go to now. It comes as an App and RFID card. It works with a large number of charger types and gives you a discount in a lot of cases. Sometimes only a few pennies per kw but sometimes a good discount e.g. 30p/kw instead of 45p.

The other two I have is the BP Pulse App (some free charging in places), and Pod point.
