Binding Trophy Connect to iSMART app

It’s MV5 Ev. 22 reg. still can’t find where QR code is
The reg doesn't matter - it needs to be the facelift version shown in the 2nd image on N2STY's post. If you've somehow managed to score one, there are some troubleshooting options that might work... If that's not the car you have, then it's a dead end I'm afraid.

Ok. thank you anyway

At this present moment in time, the I-Smart App only works on the ZS EV Facelift model and the new MG4 model just released.
The MG5 ( EV ) is not compatible and will therefore NOT have I-Smart compatiblity sorry !.
The App is available to down load, but it will not be compatible with the MG5 EV in its present model state.
The NEW face lifted MG5 is likely to have it in the U.K. - But it’s not yet reached our shores.
Not the answer you where looking for unfortunately.

You need the original account the car is bound to and debound from there if you can't get original account then mg will need to send a signal to the car to remove original bind the problem is a lot of dealers don't know or just don't won't the hassle
If you bleave you bound the car try the account on different phone if you can
Do you know what the contact number is for mg to get unbound please?

On the home screen, swipe left to find the settings icon. In settings, the right hand thin grey panel scrolls independently of the main screen. Scroll to the bottom of the grey panel and you will find the QR code.
thanks G G. I’ve been trying to find the qr code to on a 3 day old ! Zs EV lr.
plus it’s stil Bound to The Justevs delivery drivers phone !

The delivery driver has no need to bind his phone to the car
Would understand Bluetooth

the reset on the car to factory settings does not unbind the car even after 3 attempts arghhhhhh
NO - Sorry it will not !.
If somebody else has their phone binded to the car, nobody else can bind THEIR phone, until the first persons unbinds their phone first !.
A reset of the head unit is not sufficient to do it.

Is the iSmart app down today? I am just not able to get it to refresh. Logged out and logged back in to the app. The car is put in the open and in a good place with signal.

@Paul Webster

If your car was stolen, you wouldn’t want the thief to be able to unbind it from your account by simply going back to factory settings. I know it must be a real pain to buy a vehicle which is still bound to someone else’s account, but I hope you will be able to get a resolution in time. There are people at MG who can help, I have heard.

Although you use your phone to action the initial binding, the car is not bound to the phone, it’s bound to your account and can be accessed by another phone with the iSMART app and log in details, but logging in on one phone, logs the other out.
