Hi All,

Has anyone else seen this video?

The kit comes from china and looks out of stock at the moment but i'd be seriously tempted to get it, not sure i'd try the install on my own, might see if there's a friendly local car electrician

Edit: looks like the kit is HERE and is in stock

Looks like a long job🤔

I have ordered a full set, due arrive in May.
Not sure whether I'm going to install it as we rejected the first car and still waiting for dealer to locate another one for us.

Why did u reject the first one
Oil leaking from second day, dealer tried twice, still leaking. The car spend more than 1/3 of the time in dealer since we picked up at the end of Nov 2022.
The dealer also tried to fix both front doors with the second oil leaking attempt. Dealer told me all have been fixed, fact is nothing has been fixed.
So I rejected the car while the third leaking fix attempt as the dealer can't guarantee no mor leaking.
There are more detail in the leaking topic.

Wow, sounds like what they used to call a "Friday afternoon car"

I'd be more interested in someone doing a replacement under-bonnet cover, to create a "frunk" (in the space where the front motor will go in the AWD version due this year). :)
Now a frunk is manufactured and for sale, 130 euros plus VAT and postage. SUMMER10 gets 10% off I'm told.

I completed the powered tailgate install at the weekend. It’s great and a feature I’ve always wanted with carrying kit about and having my arms full when trying to open the tailgate. However, it was an absolute mission to install and run all the cabling and wouldn’t recommend unless you know what you are doing.

Many thanks to Ting (OP video) for his advise when I went to install mine with working out which wire went where.

Any fuse on the 12v permanent as shown in the photo. Just plug it in and test or get a multi meter on them but I think they are all permanent live on that row.
