Sound deadening

From my experience doing this on my Mazda 3, doing the boot made little to no difference but doing the roof, doors, floor under the carpets inside the cabin and under the rear bench seat gave better results.

That sounds (😂) like a lot off work was it to reduce vibration or road noise?

Both really. I do a 90 mile daily commute normally sitting at 70 mph so road, tyre and wind noise can get higher in a lot of vehicles at that speed. The eye opener for me was after I'd unconsciously increased the volume to a level where I can clearly hear the lyrics, not hardcore club decibels, whilst cruising on the motorway then turned it off. When I got in the car the following morning and turned it on on my drive it seem excessively loud and I dropped my level from 25 to 17 on the infotainment system to attain a similar listening experience I'd set it at on the motorway

I must be going deaf ? - I dont have any road noise to complain of .. Yes rubbish pot holed roads - But car is smooth and quiet (ok I have tunes on - but still)
I generally listen to audio books as the radio keeps changing to Bluetooth music and the USB will only play all tracks a-z and not an album at a time😡 but for real road noise my wife's mini roadster is hard too beat 🤣
