Has any one had software problems, i took delivery a week before Christmas LR Trophy and from day one the software was faulty. i have made loads visits to dealer taht know nothing. had updates but that wont fix corrupt poor software. i now have made over 50 phone calls but get no where, clearly its not fit for prepose

Give us a clue as to what the software problems are, someone may be able to help.
 
the android auto will only run for a few mins then drops out and need to stop and restart car to connect again. the radio drops with any action on the phone and not easy to bring back. the keyboard in sat nav only types rubbish, the dealer has no idea they have tried only reset and recover update is latest clearly the software is faulty or corrupt no update will clear only a reformat and new install but that seems beyond them, MG seems to have no support or suggestions
 
Time to start making a stink, you'll get nowhere being nice to them. Contact MG direct and see what response you get, do the email to the ceo in UK thing and try to get his office on board.
 
dont think i have, made over 50 calls to the dealer , MG them dont respond to any messages or calls and over no help, litigation coming very soon when i am free from my hospital visits

Android Auto is a well documented and often talked about problem with many solutions, the use of the search facility will bring up multiple threads about that.

Not sure what you mean by the keyboard types rubbish, a little further explanation may be necessary.
 
its far more than android, radio drops out and you cant fine keyboard for sat nav just writes junk, if i reselect say Dutch n
then try return rest to English it may work one in ten times its impossible to even enter the local post code EX!!!!! as i may get 3 z

why pay extra for trophy when nothing works? can use sat nav, cant even use google android and radio wont stay on
 
It's only the radio though, the rest of the car is working isn't it?

I didn't realise that stuff didn't come with the cheaper model.
 
if you read not only teh radio, no sat nav as impossible to program trip android auto/ apple auto not working a load of crap pictures show keyboard output using top row of teh key bord try and enter a destination with that

The infotainment is faulty. If your dealer has seen this and done nothing, then find another dealer. it's under warranty.
 
Take some videos of the entertainment system behaving as you say, put them up on YouTube, tag MG, and when they ignore it point them out to the motoring press ;-)
