Hi all

As with the ZS Forum, just wondered roughly how long people were finding lead times? Ordered my MG5 SE in Hampstead Grey late Jan, still no delivery date yet - wondering how others are finding lead times?
 
That seems a bit odd as dealers have been quoting 2/3 weeks for the FL 5 trophy. Have you tried other dealerships in other areas.

There seemed to be more Trophies in stock, but fewer SE trim. We could have taken a silver SE trim they had in the yard, but it was vetoed by my wife on colour grounds :)

Should have said I have an estimated delivery date of 30th April, so not concerned or annoyed at the dealer, but they did say they hoped to get some orders in before then 'in March' so was wondering if anyone else knew of any coming in.

My lease order was placed 20/12/22, red SE. Delivered 2/3/23. Was originally due for delivery 16/2/23 but MG unable to register any vehicles at that time due to a systems failure. Flip side was I got a new 23 plate instead of a 72.👴
 
I got my through carwow. I find this is the easiest if you want something now. Just post your spec and the dealers come to you saying what they have in stock now.

Hmm… my lease order placed 08/12/22 for black SE…. still no confirmed date. Supplying dealer says MG system doesn’t tell him anything. What’s frustrating is same dealer is/was selling retail but can’t/won’t divert to lease.
 
Just bought a black MG5 standard battery Luxury trim out of the showroom. Wait in France is 6 months+ if its not in stock somewhere. They only seems to stock the luxury model not the standard trim.
