MG4 Spotted! : Was it you?

Shout out to our first 'spotted' of a Grey Trophy on A38 S around Lichfield yesterday evening as we overtook and pulled in front in our Grey SE LR. Only other one we've seen locally or out and about.

We were on the way back from a first proper longer run out after driving family 5up to Alton Towers for the day, and enjoyed the drive there and back as the car proved to be both fun and relaxing to drive depending on how its used.

Well as the original poster, and saw one yesterday (Stratford on avon- Black) for the 1st time!!!- its like spaceships, in that I have a counterpart - from work today? - filling up on our currently free EVSE charging - 23 palte too - I received a 7kw cable which i found useful, but this dude has a MG badged EVSE

Maybe I'll get spotted in Malvern in my grey trophy :)
Spotted another White SE in Malvern, unfortunately the driver didn't see me. It has been spotted a few times in the Malvern area by work colleagues thinking it is me.

If only i could be in two places at once!
You might be seeing a grey trophy round Malvern now ... any tips for charging ? Caught out by services charger not working this morning. I work near the Malvern Spa hotel and noticed there was a BP Pulsar charger there but suspect for patrons only ? The chargers by Splash are no good to me really. I'm surprised there's nothing installed at the retail park yet.

Download Zap Map which will show chargers, price availability etc or search for ev chargers in Google maps.

It does. And I'm aware of and use ZapMap etc. I'm wondering if anyone local to Malvern knows much about what the large retail park nearby, new Aldi with large car park are doing with respect to charging infrastructure.

I did use the car nav this morning and pulled up near the Texaco at Spring Lane but couldn't see the 50kW charger that was nearby (the map places the charger in the middle of the road). Thought the Texaco was the logical place to look for it. In the end I had little time to spare to look around [had spent 20 mins wrestling with charger at services].

Zap-Map shows nothing at that Texaco. In fact, the nearest rapid charger to you seems to be at Stanbrook Abbey.

Yeah this was via Google Maps and purported to be an 'Engie charger. I noticed there was an electricians yard across the way from the Texaco so maybe a private one ? No reviews on Google:

The Aldi in my town has recently installed 7kW charge points. I've not used them yet but I've heard you need the Shell app to use them.

Some branches near me actually installed 22kW ones.
It used to be that they were "plug 'n' go" (no app needed), but I haven't used one in a while.

Yes, Stanbrook Abbey is another hotel location, like the BP Pulse at the Malvern Spa so probably limited to guests and visitors.
Hotel chargers are often not limited to guests.
Usually, you just can go to reception and give them your reg number, to avoid parking fines.

I actually saw 2 other MG4 on the same stretch of road that I was driving yesterday in Bristol. First was an orange Trophy and a few minutes later was a red one coming towards me. They flashed their lights and just in time I managed to do the same. Was good to see other MG4s out and about.
