I've had the MG ZS EV (22) for a while now, and often use it to go to metal detecting sites.

I have never had an issue before parking in fields etc, but last week, there was a particularly wet grass verge on a slight incline.

My EV completely refused to drive on it. The wheels spun a few turns, then nothing. TCS had kicked in and I wasn't going anywhere. I had to reverse off the grass back onto the track and find an alternative route.

This had me thinking, how do you turn traction control off ? So I checked the manual, only to find there is no mention of turning it off anywhere.

Turns out, if you swipe down on the Infotainment screen, new options appear, and one of those is to disable the TCS.

How people find this useful !

Given your pastime it might be a good idea to change over to all season tyres? The ones that come with the car are not suited to grassy knolls. (and pretty crummy on cold wet roads as well).

I am a former gentleman driver and I bought the MG4 for my daughter.

I would like to take her to sports driving classes with the car, but I can’t even find a way to turn off the anti slipping and anti yaw.

The menu that indicates the parent company in his manual does not appear to me.

And to think I bought this rear-wheel drive car just for that!

Does anyone know how to do that?

Avoid grassy knolls near book depositories !
