Storage of cables

When I need to use the boot I have stored my 3 phase cable under the bonnet (without a bag). Doesn’t seem to rattle or affect anything.

if I don’t need the boot I just thrown the cable into a lidless plastic tray - a bit like a cat litter tray. No need to faff around coiling it up and stuffing it in a bag. And if the cable is wet after use, it dries out easily.

I’ve currently got it in a bag under passenger seat - doesn’t seem to be any room in boot as the batteries are there I think !!
The batteries are in the boot????
Since when.

I keep the type 2 charging cable under the seat. Plenty of room.

So as i dont want that scenario i ordered a spare skinny and got a fitted bag - like the ones cables come in. There is space for wheel and cable in there. Im looking at removing the moulded boot trim that holds the goo and pump and putting the wheel in there with possibly my own felt covered raised floor solution.
Good idea, but please, if you plan to do that, try to find a way to secure the spare wheel. In the unfortunate event of a serious crash that thing could cause devastation inside the car. Spare wheels are generally bolted down for that very reason.

Can’t be too careful, in my mind anyway…
