Hi,

To give something back to this very helpful forum, I have created what I hope will be a useful tool. This is intended to complement the excellent Hints & Tips resource.

This tool is a Google Sheet that tracks all the faults reported on the forum in the last 3 months (plus a few I remember from before that). The intention is that people can look up faults for links to threads offering advice and solutions and can understand the current status of the fault. I intend to keep this updated periodically with new information, supported by feedback from the community.

To do this, I've done some fault classification in terms of Severity and Status. This is to the best of my judgement and knowledge, although I recognise some people will disagree with my choices.

If the moderators think this is a useful resource, I would request it be pinned.

Please use this thread to request updates to the fault tracker rather than other conversations. You can also contact me privately if you'd prefer.

The fault tracker is available here:

How many pages is it? Like a bit of light reading at bedtime.
This however could be like the essays of Michel De Montaigne, one of the greatest reads ever but like the old and new testament added together 😉

Hah! I am tracking 45 faults so far. However, many of those seem to be early build problems that are not being mentioned by newer owners.

I think there is a know fault missing. Unable to pre heat/cool car from the app if the car is plugged in and finished charging cycle. The app will not communicate with the car unless you unplug the cable.

“The length of this document defends it well against the risk of it being read.”

The urls can change from time to time on the site.

Yes. It’s a really nice idea to list all this, the best approach would be to have it in built to the forum in consultation with the owners. Otherwise it will quickly become a nightmare to keep updated.

I agree it would be better if the forum did it but I am not aware of an available feature for that. In the meantime I am happy to maintain it - I created it for my own benefit too, so not worried about updates, only took a few hours to go through 3 months of posts and pick out the relevant info, I am sure I can keep on top of it.

I guess the forum might say that‘s what the search function can be used for and is how the forum is structured. It does sort of cast a shadow over the model though having a very long list of faults - not good. I’m sure that many will find your work useful.

Well I don't find the search function great for finding things so I will continue with this anyway but if the administrators want to delete this thread, that's up to them, but my theory is that because I found it useful to create, others would find it useful as well, or why do we have the Hints & Tips thread, for example?

I appreciate your support.
