I'm tempted to use the funny emoji because your remark is hilarious, but that would be against the rules.
I'm also tempted to say that it's an idiotic remark, but that would also be against the rules.
We don't have paymasters, here. We have rules and everyone is expected to follow them.
MG haven't paid us anything, ever. To date. But I live in hope. Not that it would make a jot of difference to the rules or how they are applied.
Vanarama are a sponsor, but that is irrelevant.
Calling anyone a liar, particularly an organisation, is against the rules because it's probably libellous. It's also something that's very difficult to prove in court.
Call someone a liar and we'll ask you not to do it again. Adopt a user name which calls someone a liar and we'll change it and ask you not to do it again. Then ignore that request, post calling someone a liar and stating your old username which states that someone is a liar, and you're gone.
 
Poeple can read his comments and all agree with what he has said.

But you taking money from Vanarama says it all.

I could say you are suppressing peoples opinions, but that would be against the rules.

I could say that you bumbed this thread off the main group to keep it hush because Vanarama paid you, but that would be against the rules.

We both can plays games and if you don't like it then ban me I don't care

All? How do you know it's all? Don't speak for everyone unless 'all' have stated their position.

You'd be wrong, because I haven't suppressed opinions, I have removed the content of posts where the wording break the rules. If you are not literate enough to choose wording within the rules, that's your problem, not mine.

I enjoy Age of Empires right now.
I've learned from running forums for a living that it takes all sorts. Evidenced by the fact that some people insist that the earth is flat. There is no convincing some people even when the evidence is against their position. They just want to believe what they want to believe and facts be damned.
Believe whatever crazy crap you like. Just don't break the rules.
 
Well Stuart, I think you brought all this on yourself when this post was sidelined away from the main zs thread. This was at a time you were negotiating a sponsorship deal with Vanarama. Many of us who ordered a zs through Vanarama believe that the service has been substandard.
Since MG at the time only had the zs and mg5, and Vanarama hadn't supplied any zs ev this appears to be hush money.
Why else would Vanarama sponsor the site?
This could easily have been avoided if the thread had not been sidelined.
 
I really struggle to understand your fixation on the location of this thread. Not only is it highly visible to anyone seeking out the subject matter but on a quick google search it features at Number 1 in the listings against "Vanarama Issues" :

Just got a call from Vanarama saying my Black MG ZS EV Trophy Long Range is expected end of May and would be registered as soon as it is in the UK in order to retain the grant, with delivery to dealer and then myself sometime in June logistics permitting. Unfortunately I had to cancel as even though it was a positive update, it was too late for me timewise. But just thought I'd share some positive news for anyone left with an order.
 
Update...finally been given a delivery date of 5th May 2023 for order placed on 22nd Nov 2021. So by the skin of its teeth ive managed to keep the £2500 grant.

Until it arrives in the drive I'm not counting my chickens though!!

Been chasing Vanarama and after chasing they came back and said to the effect of "you are near the top of the queue, and we will be allocating orders soon... will come back to you next week". And, of course, they never did!

Fortunately, thanks to some advice above, called Greenhaus, who said the car is on vessel due to arrive with dealer on 15/05. Called Vanarama yesterday, and got told the same date! They mentioned that the vessel has been delayed, but 15/05 is the precautionary date... so it is possible our cars are on the same vessel. I am hoping this time next month, we will have a car!

@DK1083 I know where there is a caancelleation order waiting for a buyer, the car is in the dealership

Got a phone call today saying I should be receiving our Black Trophy Long Range in the next 4 weeks. We ordered Nov 21. Looks like they're finally arriving :)

Hmm, we ordered on 21/11/2021 (signed on 22/11). We have now got a call from Vanarama saying somewhere between mid to end of May! Previously were told 15th May was a precautionary date, and could be sooner! Apparently there are delays between port and dealer.

Same spec as you.
 
Anyone heard anything more? Very frustrating to be told 3 weeks ago that the vehicle was here and yet drill waiting for details of a delivery date.
 
I heard early June and other forums seem to tie in with this....
Previously they have been shocking but Got more info out of vanarama in last 6 weeks then ever before so all whilst there actually providing info I shan't bad mouth them

Was told this week the boat is here and my car is in port awaiting transport...unsure how many boats there are but assuming only 1...so maybe worth calling dealer for update

New here but going to give an up date

Car ordered nov 21’

Was told last month that the car would be with us may 12th/15th

Found out today that the car is only going to the dealership on the 2nd of June 😬😬😬

Have now been told that they are going to try and register the car to my wife BEFORE the end of the month so she will still get the &2500 grant. I’m not holding my breath if I’m honest

Plus now the free car charger is going to cost £350 to get installed.

Will cancelled and Audi q4 as the wait was to long and ordered the mg - turns out I would have had my Audi a year ago😂😂
 
I believe Vanarama have been texting Registerion numbers of the vehicle so, I presume that they will qualify for grant and delivery not too far away.
