I live in the netherlands but I' m sure some people may find that useful info too.
I ordered the mg4 Luxury (is how theyre called here) in color Brighton Blue on 27th of march. Expected delivery date was 1st of september. Unexpectedly, the dealer just contacted me that the car is ready to be delivered! I should get the car next week after only 2 months waiting from order date
Got it yesterday. No rearwiper and lots of software bugs / problems but I love driving it, coudn't be more happy atm (assuming I'll find solutions to the software problems). Like I said before, 2 months for me order to delivery in the netherlands

Well after arriving and then being back at sea, Octopus are saying it's arrived in the UK again. Must have been a shipment this week!

I got a message from Octopus last Friday saying mine had arrived in the UK, then this week got a message saying it has been built but had not left China yet
I suspect the message saying it was in the UK was sent my mistake.

I ordered my MG4 trophy grey in mid January and still waiting.
23 June is the new delivery date. (Breda)
I think the different delivery dates depends on colours and options..

I put a deposit on a Trophy grey on 31st March. I collected it on 15th April. It may be that some dealers are placing forward orders in expectation.

I am sure that is the case as the dealership near me has loads in there compound with a lot of them being the Orange Trophy

That's pretty much what happened to me, see my sig line. By sheer coincidence he had exactly what I wanted "sitting out the back waiting to be prepped for sale," so after his earnest attempts to persuade me to buy first a Trophy and then an LR had fallen on stony ground, he finally fessed up and let me buy it.

GL on the last bit of waiting!
Although my car came fast, I'm having the worst experience with the dealer (Van Mossel MG) since the deal was done. There's stuff that needs to be looked at, mostly software problems but they don't respond to anything.
Hope you'll get your car on time and with better software!

A new car with some bugs is acceptable, only if the support is good and helpful.
For me the nearest dealer for services and updates would be Groningen.
Fingers crossed those guys do their job.

Finally my september order is delivered. 3 months from arriving in Norway to delivery is not impressive.
Build date 14 nov 22.
But the car is great fun to drive!

Had an update from Octopus about my car, I was told it was in the UK a few weeks ago, then I was told it was still in China last week. Now I've been told it is actually in the UK. Apparently there's been a very large shipment recently come in and there's been some confusion about which cars are going to which dealerships, but that's getting sorted out, it could see a lot of back orders being fulfilled. So fingers crossed

My first post on this forum but I've been reading the for the last couple of months.
Ordered an MG4 Trophy in white back in April via Octopus EV through salary sacrifice. The process has been a bit of a mess but also got an email last Friday to tell me mine was in the UK.
My contact at Octopus can't give me any more than that so I'm hoping MrPineapples' is in the same boat as me, or at least the car is!

I was originally told that it took about 4 weeks from arriving to the UK to your door. But the hold ups at the ports could delay that a little.

Mine has been odd. About 3 weeks ago I was told the car was at the dealer but a small issue was being looked at but delivery would be within a couple of weeks. When I got the email about it now being in the UK, I asked again and was told it was still on the boat.
MG seem to be all over the place. As soon as I hear anything concrete, I'll post here.

Yeah I was told it was in the UK, then told it was built but in China, then I was told it was being delivered on the 8th (today)... and then told it had actually only just arrived in the UK & would hopefully be with me within in a month... so similarly i'll believe it when I see it.
It's difficult when you're trying to organise the sale of your current car, but don't want to be left without a car for too long. My wife is also pretty pregnant, so being without one isn't really ideal right now.

In a way I'm quite pleased it isn't just me! But yes, very frustrating. Not quite the speedy delivery, you'll get it by June order I was told.
I'm half expecting a call at some point telling me: "Are you free tomorrow?"
I'm also trying to sell a car. Just got to wait. You definitely can't be without if you're expecting!
