Headlight bulbs

I just need to work out how to remove the plastic engine bay cover without damaging it. Nothing on YouTube yet.
There are 12 plastic retainers holding the cover in place. Just need a flat bladed screwdriver to undo them. Replacements are easy to find on Amazon/eBay if required. There is also 2 bits of Velcro holding it down on each side.

Hi all
About to change headlight bulbs.
Which of these is OK for MG5
HB3 or H3
Sorry missed info off first time

To be honest I can't see anything wrong the manufacturer fitted on my MG5. I genuinely think they're quite good but maybe my hyundai i40 were bad so these seem good.

Just fitted These to my MG5, I fitted them to the ZS when we got the car back in June last year, transformed night time driving with them
I’ve not even driven the 5 in the dark yet but after the experience of driving the ZS in the dark with the original bulbs in, shall we just say 🕯 would be better, so ordered the led replacements when I ordered the MG5...

The bulbs look great, but I think you'll need to remove them after 3 years for the first MOT as they are not yet legal.

You also run the risk of dazzling other road users as the led bulbs are not designed to work with the lenses on thd headlights.
