I wonder if anyone else is facing problems with their Wallbox pulsar plus. I have had mine 2 years now. It worked perfectly for 12 months but for the last year it keeps dropping WiFi connection. It would stay connected for a few days and then overnight it loses connection. Only a restart will restore it. Now it drops this within a few hours.
First I was told it was my router, despite everything working well for 1 year prior. I upgraded my router and have tried 3 different ones. They then said the signal might not be strong enough. I have now at some expense relocated the router to within 6 feet of the walllbox, it is as close to it as I can get it. The problem persisted. They then blamed the car for connection problems.
I have now been in touch with the customer service team for the last 3 months. They have been at best incompetent and at worst, I can’t mention that on the forum.
I am no further forward. Basically everything they can blame has been blamed apart from the charger.
I am at the end of my patience. I need this to work as without this the charger is useless for the octopus intelligent tariff.
I know this is not me as now my neighbour who installed the Wallbox at my recommendation is having the same problem.
Is anyone having such problems and are their any suggestion as to what others have tried?

Mine wouldn't make a WiFi connection until I installed a WiFi repeater nearby. (Wallbox is on the outside of the wall, and the repeater is plugged in on the inside of the same wall, so is only a few feet from the Wallbox - a cheap way to extend the WiFi coverage). I very rarely lose Internet connection - I think I've had to reboot the Wallbox twice in 2 years.

I used a new wallbox plus for a couple of years, not a single issue. Got upgraded to a Max to field test for them. Been on it for about 18 months or so, mostly all good. Using Octopus Intelligent OCPP /Kia Soul 30kwh.
Had one problem whereby the Wallbox bombed out half way through a s/w upgrade. Couldn't get the WiFi going at all. They asked me to roll back the s/w version... which I could not do because I couldn't get WiFi going 🤔.
Luckily I used to be a comms engineer a couple of decades ago so went off down that rabbit hole. Managed to get it going and rolled back and working eventually. Also realised they have a list of current s/w vers. for all of their chargers. The one for the Max was a couple back from the one it tried upgrading to. Now then I don't know if this was part of their field testing but they hadn't mentioned it and beyond "try rolling back" had no useful advice. Since then I've decided not to allow any s/w upgrades if they're beyond their current recommendations.
Long story short. What s/w vers are you on and how does it compare to their recommendation?

Also, I have a 3 node google mesh, one of which is in the garage about 10' from the charger, so excellent signal, which Wallbox confirmed (smug grin)

Thanks guys. But I already have a router 6 feet from it installed in the garage. So it has full signal. I am confident that the lack of Wi-Fi signal is not the cause.
I am using the latest software that is available.
Any other other thoughts .

If it's working fine, better not to upgrade. Better to be trailing edge than leading imho. Let others take the suffering. Catch up later 😉

It sounds like the only solution as Wallbox can’t help is to get an independent
Installer/repairer to check the box out. Good luck

I had a similar experience with Wallbox customer service, trying to blame everything else rather than admit to a faulty charger (Pulsar Max Plus). In the end my installer replaced it with an Ohme unit as I’d been down for 7+ weeks. Shame as the Wallbox functionality, when it worked for 11 months, was quite good. The Ohme has a cellular connection rather than Wi-Fi and can be controlled from its front panel.

Had a Wallbox Pulsar Plus for coming on for 3 years, it's been fine - connecting to Wifi at more than 6 feet to router - however it has developed an electrical fault, and Wallbox are going to replace with a new one - still under warranty, which lasts 3 years (just made it in time!). Wallbox customer support have been OK so far - will let you know how I get on....

I'm not sure my Wallbox Pulsar Plus even supports wired Ethernet. 🤷‍♂️ But WiFi works fine with the booster/repeater.
Just to kick me in the nads 🙄 I had to power cycle my Wallbox last night after finishing charging my car as it had lost the WiFi connection. Once it booted back up it connected fine to the WiFi.
