Hi, this week we pulled into Fleet services on the M3 and I pointed out to my wife the bank of Tesla superchargers. I wanted to show her how easy it is to charge if you have a Tesla. To my amazement they were virtually all in use. I’ve never seen this before! The two Ecotricity units had one ccs connector between them but they appeared to both be in service.
How many more Teslas need to be sold before owners maybe forced to use alternative chargers at the motorway services thus causing arguments between users “ hey you’ve got your own chargers stop blocking ours!”
Just a premonition, Kev.

Answer none, Tesla’s are already cramping my style. I’m sure they have their own fancy pants network. :) This guy was cool to be fair he was charging on the ac socket so I could still dc ccs.

Some Tesla rapids appear to have a ‘bug’ that gives free charge to non-Teslas. I’m not convinced it’s not just a stunt to get publicity and raise the prospect of opening up their network to paying customers of other EVs.
