MG ZS EV Facelift - Have you ordered?

The car in part ex plus £750 thrown in on top of the p/ex car which is Arnold Clark special offer so that totals £2700 up front, 12000 miles a year, 4 years lease, £345 a month. Oh and blue paint too.

We've went for a 3 year lease. Paying around £3400 upfront then £285 a month. That's for 20k miles a year. Blue also. Plus free insurance & roadside assistance for a year, a free home charger and £250 cashback.

Spoke to Chorley today, they are still looking at late March !.
But I then I spoke about other dealers who are suggesting April and even May now for deliveries !.
The answer I received was that was nobody is REALLY certain what is happening right now.
But a better picture is likely to emerge in the next 7 to 10 days.
THEN - Then they will start contacting customers with an update.
His own thoughts where, that SOME cars will still arrive in Jan & Feb of this year.
The March delivery cars is more unknown AT THE MOMENT - I have been promised a call back as soon as something more conclusive is known, in ABOUT a weeks time.
IF - The date does slip back to April / May then I expressed my concerns over the trade in price offered before Christmas ?.
I have been assured that the value of my car is locked in and secured, as is the agreed price of the new car prior to the reduction in the PICG.
If the car IS delayed, then at least we still get to use my ZS EV ( Gen 1 )in the mean time.
Last time, I sold my previous car privately and then had to wait until the ZS EV came along.
Using my wife's ICE car for a few months, did prove more expensive than running our PHEV !.
I believe that the high residual value of used cars, are likely to stay at this high level until the supply of new cars starts to improve, then the prices will start to fall fairly quickly.

I've had the same assurances from Chorley Group, which is another testament to their reputation for being a great customer focused dealer.
 
I've just had an email from WBAC. I didn't respond to their initial valuation of £27k because I won't be selling until the end of Feb. They are now offering an extra £345!
Has anyone heard of them doing that before? There must be a real demand for used Konas.

I have been keeping an eye on my Leaf value with WBAC over the last month or so in preparation to selling in in Feb / Mar or whenever the ZS arrives. Has been as high as £19k now down to £18.5k even with increased mileage. They emailed me last week to tell me it had increased in value.
 
I predict it will become, keeping 2.5k & 0.5k difference between trims and 2k difference between battery sizes:
SR SE - £25,495 (£26,995)
SR Trophy - £27,995 (£29,495)
SR Connect - £28,495 (£29,995)
LR SE - £27,495 (£28,995)
LR Trophy - £29,995 (£31,495)
LR Connect - £30,495 (£31,999)
Be interesting to see if you're right or the best option for most I imagine is SE LR.
 
JustEVs have put their prices up this week. The Trophy has gone from £29,495 to £30,995.
I notice this. The price shot up, but enquiry prior to that still unanswered...doesn't bode well for dealing with them.

They don't seem too hot on emails. I had to phone them to get anywhere. Very good on the phone though.

I would have thought MG dealers would have first shout on units and leasing companies etc would be at the back of the queue?
I suppose they got the very first batch in the country for demonstrators in all their branches and for some lucky punters who had pre-ordered without test driving.
