MG ZS EV Facelift - Have you ordered?

Hi all.

How many of you here have actually ordered the new long range model?
If you have, how was your order process, and what delivery date estimate have you been given? (if any!)

Thanks.
Ordered a Trophy Connect in Battersea Blue in early December 2021. Was given 28th March 2022 possible delivery date, but have now been told it's looking like 8th May 2022 due to the semi-conductor problems.

Whos sending you those, as I've got nothing from them since ordering in Nov!
The Sales Executive that I placed the order with. He said he would keep me informed with an update once a month and he has so far. I suggest getting in touch with whomever you placed the order with and check they have the right contact details.

I've been given a similar date for my MG5 which was due tomorrow. Also given the same reason. Let's hope they get some chips soon!

We have ordered two LR SE models from Arnold Clark in Glasgow, similar to the other person, it was the best deal - amazingly - compared to others. Coming in at 315 deposit with 315 a month each. One black, one blue.

We were told May from the outset when we booked a couple of weeks ago. Also interesting to note that despite not being that much in it in overall price - around £500 I think - the SR Trophy was over 20 quid a month dearer than the LR SE. I was swithering about going for that rather than the LR SE given the spec is better despite the lower battery, but decided to stay as is.

My guy has been off sick for a couple of months, so he won't be sending them, but the other sales guys are supposed to be looking after his customers, so I should have got something from someone else there! I did speak to one guy last week when I was there for my MK1's 2nd year service, he mentioned May, he also said I should have got a voicemail or email about the date slipping, though I never did! Neither did someone else on this forum, though he has ordered through the Chorley branch, rather than Burnley.

New to all this EV stuff. Just ordered the SE long range in Battersea Blue. I was told delivery build and delivery about 20wks which is quite a wait, but it gives me time to organise the charger and change my household tariff.

If you want the £350 gov grant towards your home charger and install I believe the current OLEV EVHS grant ends March 31st 2022 and can’t be claimed for installs completed after that date. Just thought I'd let you know.

I didn't make the original post, but I think you might be missing there were two battery options for the ZS EV being referred to: 51.1kWh (SR) and 72.6kWh (LR)

As I read it (could be wrong), @superhans is saying that the Standard Range Trophy (£29,995) was £20p/m dearer than the Long Range SE (£29,495) despite the difference in asking price between the two only being £500. Ultimately they went with the LR as SE trim to gain greater range, rather than the SR in Trophy which has smaller battery but upgraded spec.

If you look on MG's site, the facelift ZS EV is listed for all 3 trims in 51kWh and 72kWh versions.
Sorry my bad when I ordered one for my wife my dealer perrys said the face lift is only available in long range but later there should be a standard did not think the standard was available yet sorry again

Nothing to apologise for!! :)

It's only recently the SR had an official listing/price, so I totally understand the confusion.
