I'm going mad!
I've looked and looked (Even tried looking in the handbook!) but I can not for the life of me find out where (IF) I can turn down the brightness of the centre Infotainment Screen on my Zs.
I have had it for just under a year but had never really used it much at night (Covid).
Now the world is coming back slowly to some normality and the nights are drawing in I find my self using the car more and at night.
With the screen in it's first mode it's blinding! I end up choosing to press the radio to darken the screen a little but some adjustment would be nice.

Can anyone point my the right deration?

Settings>display>Background mode, then you have a choice of, Day, Night or Auto.
but if it's anything like the '5, it's still too bright (at least, it is for me. I like a dim dash at night and still find the 5 a bit bright. Don't like the reflection off the driver's side window either.

Infotainment display Off
Thanks to Jessica in the MG Call Centre for sending me a PDF of the Infotainment system manual that I can read while I'm waiting for my MG5 LR to arrive.

I too wanted to know how to turn off the display (while leaving the media & sat nav voice playing) like I can on the MG6. Check out page 9 'Display Off'

Can't wait
Sincerely
Martin

There are two ways to turn the display off without turning the system off.
1. At the bottom right of the main screen there is a scroll right arrow, select this then "OFF"at the bottom left. This is the easiest way if you're driving.
2. In the Settings. Settings>Display, then to the right of the brightness slider is there is an "OFF" button.
The Brightness can also be turned down using this brightness slider.
