MG ZS EV refreshed version reviews

A good fair and positive review I would say.
If you liked the grill on the old model, then the black wrap is an option I guess ????.
The black wrap on the roof, blends in well with the tinted pano roof ???.
Personally, although at first sight I was not to keen on the new front bumper.
I have quickly come to like it now !.
I like the idea that it makes the car stand out from the ICE versions of the car also.
People have compared the new front bumper styling, as a little Kona / Tesla M3 ish ??.
I can totally see that !.
Maybe MG wanted to give their EV model it's own identity, to bonce off other EV makers ?.

Its Luscombe's special edition version with the black grille and roof.

French review of the ZS EV :

I really beginning to like the silver, I hope I’ll not regret having ordered the black one 😬

I have had silver colour on my last 3 cars and fancied a change. Test drove the MGZS EV in red, not keen, showroom model was silver and looked a totally different car so ordered silver, again.

I test drove the silver one, and quite liked the colour, though my wife hates silver cars so its a no go for me unfortunately! Gone for the black one this time.

Yeah - I expected them to be fairly harsh with regards to criticism for some reason ?.
I was pleasantly surprised 😮.
I think they based their opinions set against the cars VFM ( value for money ) rating.
Positively received is a fair assessment overhaul I would say ?.

except they're hardly 'simple and utilitarian' ! He also mentioned the cost saving on the interiors, but failed to mention the terrible materials used in the ID3!
I test drove the ID4 and the materials are no better. Just been invited to spec an ID5 and they have still got crappy looking interior with an I-Pad stuck to the dashboard. My specced version £50K+. To be honest I have been having some doubts about the MG but the more positive reviews I see and poor feedback from the likes of Ioniq5 and EV6 regards range and software problems these doubts are being dispelled.

How does the climate control work on the new ZS,

I watched Luscombe's video above but am still a bit vague on how it works. I could see the auto bit around where it blows the air, but don't know if that also controls the fan speed or if there are other bits that control that / set it to auto.

And is the aircon on / off separate to the other "auto" climate functionality.

I can't tell if it's a halfway house climate control implementation, or if they're designed it to allow extra control over bits to save power.
Hi I would say halfway house. Been struggling with the heating for a while now just have it all on at max 28 degrees until arms up then just turn fan down to 1 or 2
