Further to this i called my dealer to check when the pre-order was made, which is probably more important than when i secured the vehicle, and they told me it was put through in January. They are hoping for September delivery 🤞🏻

On a separate note, this spreadsheet only works if people let me know when their car has been delivered. I know there'll be loads of excitement when that magical (mythical??) day finally comes, but once the excitement fades a little, try and remember us and put a quick comment with the delivery date!

A picture too if you so choose, but that might make everyone jealous, so maybe not!

  • Ordered March 28th ( but stock pre-order)
  • ETD 29th July (but told looking more like Sept)
 
Hi Oakers. A little odd one for your spreadsheet but can you complete my listing now?
On a visit to Mervyn Stewart MG yesterday we were surprisingly told we could buy their ex demonstrator Trophy SR in red so we struck a deal on it to be collected next Tuesday. This we will be cancelling the order for the blue LR that keeps being put back and with no fixed delivery date. The SR is a February model, from the big batch that flooded the UK at that time and has 2500 miles on the clock and was £6000 less money than the LR we'd ordered.

Ex demo or something - I think it's being collected this weekend according to the shipping thread, which I check for news as if it's going to help me get mine sooner 😁.

It was ordered as a demo for another dealership. They didn't want it and swapped for 3 other cars with my dealership and I happened to be made an enquiry just as the deal was done and they offered it to me.
My dealership (Wilson's) did say they got 3 others off the ship at the same time.
