1. Indicator sound. It's easily double the volume of the previous gen. It's SO LOUD.
2. Speedo isn't centred anymore. There's space on the centre screen but instead we get temperature there. Minor but still annoying.

I guess 2. is fixable in software ( there are 4 menus to left/right through, could I just have centered speed thanks? )
1. maybe software fixable?

What else is worse on the new model ( there's tons of stuff that's better obviously ).

Amazing.
Why it's called vehicle alerts and not indicator who knows.

• ISA and MSA have to be enabled on every switch-on via infotainment iSMART menu. This bugs the hell out of me!
Oh and the radio/audio continuing to play till lock the car… would be nice if worked like my previous car and stopped when driver door opened if vehicle switched off!

No idea - I can only think that MG like to make customers work for it . The manual does need a rewrite in some places.

I'm a push every button kind of person though, so would've figured it out eventually.

My wife loves EV’s !.
Not because she likes driving them, but she thinks they are great for sleeping 😴 in !.
Every time we make a reasonable sized trip, she will fall to sleep 💤.
She complains when I need to use the indicator, as it wakes her up 🤣.
I like the peace and quiet 🤫 so I have been know to make a manoeuvre with out using them ( only joking folks ).
It would be nice to be able to reduce the volume.
The indicators - Not my wife !.
But on second 💭 thoughts, now I think about it ????.
I guess it does go someway to give the car some credit, when the indicators are the loudest thing in the cabin !.
I bet there is many “Oil Burner” drivers who wish they could even hear there indicators above all that engine clatter !.
Maybe that is why you always see them flashing on a continual basis ???.

Did people not test the car before buying it. Surely you would have known these issues before parting with your money?
In this case the label isn't immediately obvious, and I wouldn't have let the loud sound put me off.
That being said, there were posts where people had ordered but hadn't driven the car, which may have been down to demo availability at the time.

I think in some cases though, there's not much more than a superficial look into things. That at least explains some of the questions on here, like not knowing the spec of the car before actually buying it, or not knowing the manufacturer has a website. Sign of the times I guess.

There were so many things to think about at the time of the test drive along with the stress of will the wife like it?
She did ….. still waiting for TCLR from early Dec 2021.

Turn the volume down in settings, it's the Notifications volume slider.

Or the boot.
They say that to find out who really loves you unconditionally you should lock the wife and your dog in the boot for 1 hour, and when you open, you check to see which of the 2 will still wag their tail and be happy to see you. :)

Also..If the wife is banging at the front door to get in, and the dog is barking at the back door to get in, always go to the back door and let the dog in, as it will stop barking at you as soon as you open the door. The one at the front door, will probably just bark even louder when you open that one up to let her in. :)
