my smart meter is being fitted next week which is at least 6 weeks after joining, and collecting the car on the saturday. So Octopus have said they are doing the fittings by area, so having 5 installs in the same location saves them time i bet.
Im using a ohme cable so will see how we get on.
Octopus go is a good tariff but way behind at present with smart meter installs, waiting time is around 6 weeks. Install is the simple part but some having a hard job connecting to the 2 g service for sending information back to computers
Try on the iphone, go to settings and your need to find car play, click on this then use usb lead without bluetooth to connect, the display comes up on the head unit and you should see the mg app showing which means everything works.
Just check and cancel if its left a bluetooth setting.
In the Mg zs ev the regen is great, there are 3 modes to use, 1 for motorway, 2 and 3 for other roads, its very much better than a leaf and when approaching corners or roundabouts taking your foot off slows and charges at the same time and if used correct will add miles to your journey.
I know Mg do not supply a type 2 cable but the big discount there giving is fab, if your buying the car from them, you need to haggle, some dealers are giving them free (Fraser in scotland and few more are)
but i use one when parking at multi storey for 4 hours or more as its free charging along...
No do not buy these, they are not worth taking the risk. A good cable looked after should give years of service, google these to find the best ones and prices.
Some on eBay could be made up and using thinner wire, eg fire risk.
I would if possible without letting them know, pop in and see them in person, the dealer you ordered it from and speak to the sales there, they can at that moment check the computer for upto date information.
Thats what i did and also told me status of at sea and date of landing approx.
It maybe still around after the budget around april i think, but depends on if we have a new government in place etc, germany is giving £5000 on ev over £40,000.
They should honour your deposit as a firm order so should be ok with that.
