It supposed to change colour according to the state of charge I believe. But it appears that most cars stay green all the time and some randomly change to orange. It will probably go green again when you turn off and back on again.
If it's a Trophy I think it is something to do with the driver awareness system. They removed the sensor above the steering column but I think it could be that the software still pings a warning every now and then but because the system was disabled it doesn't associate it to a specific...
I forgot to add that the sensitivity of the auto lights seems to have changed, it has to be a bit darker for them to come on now which is an improvement.
Yes mine got the service campaign updates. Only things I noticed were 1 mph increments on ACC and pre heating while plugged in and not charging. There will be more but that is what I have found. Still on R33 but that is fine with me as I prefer the original HVAC screen.
Truthfully I have never seen less than 3 even when it's really cold, over 14 months and 18.5 k miles. But guess it's down to the type of driving / roads.
The range is not the important figure. The important figure is the m/kWh. Think of an ICE car , no one mentions the range , you talk in mpg. With an ICE car few people actually achieve the quoted mpg but everyone accepts this . The EV is just the same except everyone gets hung up on "range" . We...
Ok , this is now solved . I have been in touch with The Wheel Shop and after some debate they sent me a replacement 18" space saver meant for an Audi . This fits front or back with loads of clearance around the calipers. Here is a picture of the spec on the wheel.
My opinion FWIW is that the batteries on EV's are designed to last 10 years and even more. It would be extremely difficult to damage or degrade the battery to any noticable degree in a short time. The figures you are seeing are swayed by the cars being driven for very short distances and...
Because your EVSE charges your other EV ok then it must be either a fault or a setting on the car . You need to confirm by using another 7kw AC EVSE , if it still behaves the same it's a trip to the dealership, then a wait while they confirm what you've told them , then another wait for MG to...
Im on the standard variable tariff with BG it goes down to 25p / kwh on 1st of April so at an average of 4 m/kwh which is what I average over a year it will be around 6.25p / mile . I have a smart meter but only a 3.5kw EVSE so 5 hours charging for me is not enough to be practical. It is still...
There are ball bolts supplied which mount into holes already there . Then the rubber mounts push into the ball bolts . Is quite secure but can be removed in seconds if needed. The cargo net and bag are optional.
