I've experienced it the other way around. I was charging on a free charger. When coming back from shopping another EV was parked nearby with open charging cover. Inviting me to plug it and start charging for the owner. I was happy to comply and hope they didn't mind 😉

Maxed the MG4 out there. Reached 105mph with relative ease. But frankly I wouldn't want to drive an EV at that speed for long. Way to inefficient. Ride felt quite fine though. No problems whatsoever 😊

Decides for this set this time. Due to the MG's mirror Bein quite large and the square shape really faith with the dash board and screen. I am happy enough with it, though it does not have gps recording.

I have just threaded the wires through the car. The camera is attached with 3M and I have chosen not to connect with any wire and the rear cam is set up to run permanent is long as the car is on. Not perfect, but works for me.

I am using a combination of rear and front camera with the monitor integrated in the rear view mirror. This way I do not have an additional screen. Works for me. Had this set up in 3 cars so far.

It's the SR. I have had the option to set the target battery level and it worked for about 15 days until it disappeared...

My app seems to have locked in long range mode without me being able to dial the planned SoC back to the health mode around 80 per cent. It probably doesn't matter that much, but I'd like to be able to choose my own set up as it should work. Any ideas why it's locked and how to change it back?

I have not seen the plastic covers on any other MG4. Just to avoid misunderstandings, I am talking about the window frame near to the front mirrors. The plastic covers in the upper window frame corner are present. Chris

You are right. They should be spotted and eliminated by the standards we are used to. Chinese producers are usually quick learners. I am hoping not to eat my own words later on. Fingers crossed for a happy ending 😉

I am still relaxed. I have no bias towards Chinese quality and I still expect MG to come up with acceptable solutions. For some reason I believe cheaper products may not have the same quality as much more expensive ones... I am happy with the MG 4 and if the current issues are resolvable, will...
