Hi, I've just had front bumper replaced, plus o/s headlight, all parts available, o/s wing, bonnet and bumper painted. Then they did a full ADAS alignment.
So they do get repaired
You learn something new every day.
I'm still learning about this system. Even though I have 10kw batteries the inverter sets the limit like you say. I expect around 15yrs for the batteries, but the inverter I don't know what to expect in regards to reliability.
We have Fox ES system. 10 kW battery pack with 3.5kw sola panels. Cost 2yrs ago were 8k. Fitted. We are saving approx £1500 per year. This consists of 2 electric cars and the house. Broken down, £500 Conservative on house, over £1000 on fuel costs for both cars. I would change a few things, not...
We had the front bumper taken off outside the house. I took photographs and sent them to insurance. They have repaired the vehicle, MG4 Trophy in orange. All parts available except small lower grill. That turned up this week. Vehicle has been off road 5 weeks from bump to redelivery supposedly...
Well I will find out shortly as a taxi driver took my front bumper off yesterday. MG4 drives fine. Villa Group, I've been told are EV specialists.
See if they write it off or not.
Unless you remove the battery pack. The EVs cannot go into a booth to bake the paint.
This is why it's costly. Unless a local back street paint shop does paintwork the old fashioned way, (no spray booth) you will get a reasonable job at a reasonable price.
It's very rare that I have problems with condensation, But when it happens I just winde the rear windows down an inch. I keep the heater on, but the MG5 LR PFL is very good. The estate has been used as a skip lately, The amount of stuff you can get in it is great. I've had very little problems...
I sent an email to NCAP in regards to the above, the response i received was, "not our concern" and
"it's the manufacturers problem to sort out" The email included the Infotainment system and the LKA also auto braking.
I wonder how many vehicles have their ADAS set up either at the...
I have a small solar panel and use it when i go away. it gives 1 amp and just keeps the system charged for when i get back.
They used to use them on vehicles that were shipped across water to keep them charged, I got mine off Ebay.
Hi all
I had a problem with my MG4 and unable to get the vehicle booked in for repairs, called AA (under warranty) they took the vehicle to dealers and supplied me a hire car from Enterprise. You get 3 days, This gives the dealer time to slot the vehicle in when they have time within the...
We had the R46 update a few weeks back, we are unable to "call Andrew" as is comes up with "Ina" .
This has been happening for some previous to the latest update. When we first had the car the voice request was extremely good.
When we had the R46 update, the technician told me if they fit the update without MG UK approval the garage own the infotainment unit and garage is responsible for any further issues. So maybe they are unable to install unless your having problems.
Regards
Andi
Hi chaps,
We've had our MG4 Trophy 12 months. When we first had the car, the battery charge and distance was atrocious.
As time had gone on the battery and distance has reached upto 358miles on the dash.
At the worst mid winter it's as low as 180miles.
We have got used to it now and have just...
I've had a real run round trying to get paint code for MG4 Trophy volcano orange. 3 paint shops couldn't help. So called into a back street paint shop. They have up to date listing on lap top. But they ended up calling main supplier in the country. Turned out the listing is on the computer they...
I was all for handing the MG4 back, but my wife would not let this happen.( it's her car)
Having read the posts on this forum,
The car drives fantastic. But the niggles from the infotainment unit drives me mad. As my wife has more patience she spends 5 mins turning things off before driving...
Having 2 EVs one being a company car, we log all charging. Wether at home or on the road. Don't want HMRC giving me a hard time.
The VAT to begin with was confusing, but luckily my book keeper was on the ball.
The home charger also logs all past charging sessions how long for I'm not sure...
We use ours outside regularly even when it's been showers. No problem. Never thought it may only be for inside only.
We have solar and no garage, but driveway.
I must admit at 4am I'm not at my best when it happened, your probably correct.
I've run the MG5 down to 5% and the performance was still there. I've thought of swapping it for the face lift. My wife has MG4 with numerous faults so I'm waiting to see if they sort the 4 out before committing.
