I have a Trophy and decided to do the load balancing today. Car run down to 9% which should mean approx. 6Kwh remaining. I set the car to charge to 100% today and it just reached that, having added 62Kwh. This suggests that the 9% can't be right or am I missing something. Although the car is at...
An update following my first annual service. All systems updated including R46 infotainment. All or most of my troubles have vanished:
Power limitation below 25% - now continues with a reminder to charge at 20% and the option for power saving below 10% - BUT no power reduction = Great
I can now...
What cable are you using - you need 32A 3 phase to get 11Kw from a fast charger - I think you have the single phase 16A version - you would in effect only be charging on a single vs 3 phase
Yes I have a wireless adapter too - shows up as Apple Play but works - my main issues to do with 80% charge cap and loss of power below 25% SOC are resolved.
Just back from the 1st year service and this time the dealer actually listened and updated just about everything, including the infotainment system (to R46). Most of my niggles have disappeared as a result, even power reduction as battery capacity reduces. Android Auto is working for 5-10 mins...
Never had a problem - difficult to actually manage - plug in at night when the weather seems fine - starts raining during the night - get up and do something? I think not. I might get one of the covers mentioned above though, just in case
Why not charge to 100%? On long trips I start at 100% with a range expectation currently of 220 miles. I then figure how much I want to arrive at me destination with - usually 20% or so - then do the maths - in your case start with 220 range less ending capacity desired = 176 effective range =...
I have been using the intelligent limiter for a while and couldn't figure out why the speed was limited to 60mph on a dual carriageway where the limit is 70mph. Then I realised that the speed indicator although showing national max speed limit sign it was flashing at 60mph - seems it doesn't...
Keep looking - I was £335 last year and they declined to offer renewal - too old! Quotes ranged from £700 to £1700. Got renewed at £440 with Churchill finally, same policy offered by other sites at £100 more. Oddly the premium dropped when I specified driveway overnight instead of garage and...
Agreed - plus a single card/access/payment process - swiping a credit card or contactless is fine with standard RFID as an alternative - I'm carrying so many cards around
I had seen that but have now resolved the issue. The screen advised - No country selected and no Bluetooth connection - once I selected UK the right emergency number showed and once my phone had paired I was able to initiate a test call. So all done.
I inadvertently pressed the emergency call button when trying to turn the lights on. Bit of a panic. Came up on the screen that a call was being made but nothing resulted. Interesting. I think it's possible to set/change the number dialled when the button is pressed. Anyone know where I can find...
