    Tesla Supercharger Issue MG5 LR

Not sure, but the Tesla SC network is probably one of the biggest selling points for buying a Tesla. Considering their SC network and everything else you get, the new Tesla Model 3 is beginning to look like good value for money.

    Xpower tyre size change 235/40/18

Sounds good. What does your insurance company say about all these changes?

What would make public charging better for you..?

Absolutely. I refuse to charge at some of these rapid chargers. At 80p/unit I can run my E-Class Mercedes for half the fuel cost. Ridiculous.

Does the XPower have any peers?

Agreed. But, their network does more or less eliminate the top concern of all EV drivers, range anxiety.

Does the XPower have any peers?

I doubt it, as users would be be unlikely to comment on items already present in the car.

Does the XPower have any peers?

Agreed, but the prices are the same, and car reviewers often compare the value of a new car versus one that is less than 12-month old - which I what I have done. Many would find the Tesla a considerably more desirable piece of kit especially in most areas but especially when it comes to access...

The MG4 Trophy that I used to love...

Hopefully, at some stage in the near future, spare part stock will be abdundant. My brother's Hyundai Ioniq 6 had to have parts flown in from South Korea on several ocassions. Even then, the dealership had never seen before the particular problem with the car and struggled for ages resulting in...

The MG4 Trophy that I used to love...

Welcome to the world of EV's. We are early adopters of the new technology and therefore at the 'bleeding' edge of technology; quite simply most dealerships have limited expertise and little experience in fixing issues simply because it is such different technology. And forget about parts being...

Wrong. My rate with Octopus is now 13p/kWh so the premium stays extant. Simple arithmetic.

    Real world motorway range

I am not being flippant, but acquired wisdom would recommend you consider a modern plug-in hybrid, especially if range in winter is a concern and given the frequency of the journey.

    Sudden automatic braking issue

Not being contentious, just curious; do you think an insurance company would pull a face knowing that two safety features have been deactivated?

The tariff is only good if you don't mind paying the exorbitant daytime rate premium of 12p/kWh on top of their other tariffs, i.e. have lots of solar and/or use very little daytime units. So, Octopus recommended I stay on my 18p/kWh anytime tariff.
