Hi All
I read somewhere that an MG E-Motion 2 door will be released in the U.K. in 2021. It is supposed to have a 300 mile range and cost around £30K. It might me worth waiting for if it’s true. Has anyone else heard anything?
G’day All
How do you find MG Pilot? Does it work well in traffic? Will it stop the car, or do you always have to be in full control. Wondering if it is worth it or whether I should go for the MG 5 for the extra range.
Ha ha. I can easily see why shopping trips ( which I hate) would last a lot longer. It wouldn’t bother me having a snooze in the car while the ‘ missus’ does the shopping.

I finally bit the bullet and went to have a look at the car. I didn’t take it for a drive but had a good look over it. I was offered a good deal on my current car and was almost ready to sign up. What stopped me was probably a trivial thing. No type 2 cable supplied. Only a domestic 3 pin plug...
As I travel for my work frequently the car may sit for up to a month, however the current situation has put a stop to travel. I can see the cost savings compared to a standard car and I imagine that an EV shouldn’t depreciate as quick.
Thanks very much for all your replies. It certainly is ‘ food for thought’. A couple more questions. Will the range drop significantly during winter? Will an EV lose charge if parked for long periods? Thanks.
