I swapped mine over from the originals to CrossClimate 2’s after 1000 miles now I’m up to nearly 5000 miles and haven’t looked back since.
I changed mine for the exact same reason as you will find from doing a bit of research that tyres made in China are not the same as tyres made in the EU
Thanks for that everyone! After deleting my app / clearing cache / resetting password / on and off - I thought it was just me 🙄
Let’s hope they get it fixed soon everyone!!!
Trust me Mennox if you upgrade all your speakers with the improved sound quality you will be out for more than an hours ride 😎
Sometimes on the way back from work I decide to take a slight detour just to experience that sport mode for a little while longer.
Mine currently comes up at around 189 at 100% which is very accurate in these winter conditions with the temp set to 21 and the occasionally traffic light pull off :giggle:
Hi Adiel,
You mentioned that your foot rest failed on you well this happened to mine after just 800 miles of owning mine and it has been nearly 2 months now with still no reply from MG if this is covered under their warranty or not? I've even started a separate post about failing foot rests as...
Back when I was 17 that so call tank cost me over £1000 to insure and that was only TPFT with just around 60bhp so can't imagine how much it would have cost back then to insure something with around the same power as the X Power :giggle:
Well there is one thing for sure and that's my Power is certainly a lot safer to drive both for the driver and especially for pedestrians than the Austin Allegro I used to drive many years ago! It was like driving a tank and remember one day only ' very ' slightly touching an XR4i with my...
It will be interesting to see what your local MG dealership says about it. I've been waiting over a month now and as yet still not heard anything back from them. (Apart from the usual 'That is very strange as we haven't heard that happening to anyone else.')
It started with a squeaking noise on...
Totally agree with you. The only advantage is now that I can stretch my leg on a long journey that I couldn’t do before. Compared to German cars the footrest is certainly higher on the MG and I’m going to look into maybe a more lower version of it. I think I’ve seen someone else who has...
Anyone else experienced a problem with their footrest?
It has been nearly 6 weeks now without any footrest and I'm still awaiting too hear back from the main dealer if the part is covered under warranty or not.
Just replace all the OEM speakers, including the tweeters, with upgraded ones along with additional sound insulation in all the doors and trust me it will make a HUGE difference. This was one of the very first upgrades I did to my MG4 along with upgrading all the OEM tyres.
Strangely enough you would think the range would reduce considerably as I was expecting it to drop a bit but actually it has remained nearly exactly the same.
On one of my previous cars had the Goodyears fitted which I have to admit were extremely good but then I've also had the previous generation mark 1 Cross Climate tyres fitted and these had just the edge on the Goodyears as I felt the grip in the corners made a huge difference to me.
Lets just...
On the Cross Climates in the dry I would say there is a slight increase in road noise but only very marginally more like another 1 notch up on the stereo if that helps describe it better :)
The comfort again is probably up by another 1 notch i.e. you deal feel the road bumps very very slightly...
36PSI all round on mine but mine are all Michellin Cross Climate 2 tyres compared to the OEM tyres which worked best at about 37PSI.
Have driven around 500 miles now on my Cross Climates and has certainly transformed the grip!!!
