Great post & very similar feelings, it’s not a SUV & the estate is really practical. had my Pre-FL around the same time, saved a bit buying it at 1 year old , and we are really happy with the car. There will always be cars with more tech so not that bothered it has way more than our old Kia:) ...

I must have washed the screen loads of times, so never thought it might be the screen, ok I'll give that a go.

Our wipers make a terrible noise as the windscreen dries, I replaced them but they still make a noise. Not sure what else to try. The auto wiper seems to have a mind of its own .

I think I prefer the home made Frunk option with the IKEA box, especially as it keeps the support frame & could be sprayed black or find a black alternative . I keep my cables in the boot though & not sure I need the extra space that desperately. I wouldn’t mind doing the gas struts upgrade...

I was thinking of doing the same, though we live our pre-facelift & had reports the difference is mostly superficial , the newer infotainment system & app would be nice, did you sell it privately then grab a new one? I can’t imagine a dealer giving me a decent trade in to make it worth it.

Useful to know, had my tyres switch front to back when I bought the car (1 year old) & the dealer replaced the rears for free once they saw the tread was low so might pop them off to check they have been greased.

This I think is incorrect it should be Bosch Aerotwin A188S, 18 & 24” , I looked up wipers on Euro car Parts & it recommended 26” & 18“ then checked Bosch A721S and that’s a set with 24 & 16”, I couldn’t find the spec in the manual so then checked the car which still had the original blades on...

We went through a very deep trapped water under a bridge, I was in two minds but had traffic behind , car survived fine & no problems but I will be checking the under seal this winter
