So have heard back to may amazement from local MG dealership who previously denied a problem etc.
They have said MG have now released a ‘service bulletin’ which should resolve the issue. They have quoted £105 for the work as it is a non essential ´enhancement’ to the vehicle.

Right, I have just had my MG5 FL in for the door latches on the passenger side to be replaced.
I had contacted them in advance with info from this forum about the Tesla issue and asking for the specific EVCC update.

We have an facelift MG5 which has a problem opening both passenger doors irrespective of how many times you pull the handle.
Been into dealership and parts on order.
What with this and the ongoing Tesla supercharger shenanigans I’m afraid I am regretting going for this vehicle…
