    I'm working on that.

    Dealer refuses to help

It is a load of bull. Mine's just the same, but it starts from 58 MPH. Dealer said it is a "characteristic" of the car. Utter tosh. If it was a characteristic then with a decent quality control system in place they all should have it, and they don't. I've driven many different cars in my 55...

    MG4 X Power Vibe/Hum 65to75mph

Just got back from my local MG dealer with my vibrating Xpower. I took there to see if they could do anything about the vibration/throbbing between 58 and 72 MPH that it has had from new. It’s now done about 800 miles. Unsurprisingly there is no simple fix. Their inspection report was as...

Collected today - bitter sweet experience

    X POWER EXPERIENCE.

Yeah, that much power to just the back wheels can sure lead to traction problems. The MG would leave it for dead for the first 30 yards :) "Full Beanage", nice phrase :). Not tried a launch yet, the weather's been a bit crap.

    X POWER EXPERIENCE.

I had a Tesla model 3 performance for 4 years before the Xpower. It was one of the early models with the Panasonic battery and 487 bhp. In performance mode the full throttle response was instant and neck snapping at any speed, well up to about 90 mph anyway. In chill mode you had a max of about...

    X POWER EXPERIENCE.

I've had my Xpower about 2 weeks now, it seems quite quick but there does not seem to be a huge difference between normal and sport mode. Certainly not 200+ BHP difference. I guess I could time some 0-60's to get some stats but I'm a bit underwhelmed so far. Does this sound right, or is there...

VIBRATION ISSUE - hot off the press!

I think he's on something rather than onto something :) The callipers weigh nothing when compared to all the other mass in the suspension, driveshafts, motors etc. As mentioned above, whipping them off is a simple test.

Intelligent Octopus Go works like a dream.

I'm pretty sure Octopus will kick you off the Intelligent tariff if you turn off smart charging too often. They need a couple of charges a month to qualify. It's a grid balancing tariff after all.

Charging MG4 Trophy LR, how much do you get at home in 4 hrs?

Probably a dumb question, but does the MG4 come with a 13 Amp (10A in reality) charging lead supplied with the car ? Mine is due to arrrive soon and I need to know if I should go out and buy one for trips to see my Granny :-). I already have a 32A charge point.

Intelligent Octopus Go works like a dream.

You are probably right, mind you, VW cooperated.

Intelligent Octopus Go works like a dream.

Yeah, but problem with that is the IOG schedule is dynamic. It often changes many hours after it's set.

Intelligent Octopus Go works like a dream.

I only have dumb Rolec charger, I'm trying to get Octopus to add Intelligent integration to my incoming MG4. The other EV we have is a SEAT Mii and that now works fine, they must have added it recently. Before this I timed the charge using a SonOff WiFi relay module. There must easily be 10x...
