Do you use the ABRP app.

I loaded it up once, but once I had counted to 30 seconds and it still hadn't loaded, I gave up waiting! Plugged in my phone, and never looked back.

Do you use the ABRP app.

I use it, it works pretty good. I usually plan a longer route on it, and then use Google Maps to do the actual navigating, due to ABRP not working with Android Auto (maybe one day though?)

    Bike carriers

I have a picture of it on my Outlander if that helps? I can get a pic next time I put it up - obviously can't at the moment due to lockdown!

    Bike carriers

We've done about 150 miles or so with it on the MG - been in lockdown so not been able to make use of it! It definitely fits our car though.

    Hypothetical breakdown question

I think LV also include your charging cable and home charger - just took out insurance with them (not for the EV stuff, they were the cheapest)

Battery Heating Always on - New Owner

I had heard that it doesn't actually improve the rapid charging speeds. I was due to get it, but the dealer cancelled (after having my car for the day). Apparently there were some problems with it. I would love something to improve rapid speeds though!

    Bike carriers

I have one of these for my ZS EV. It's a rear mounted rack which we use for our two e-bikes. They might do a 4 bike version as well? Reason we got it was because it can fit both of our cars (due to differences in roof racks, we would need two sets of feet for the roof mounted systems), and I...

Short right angle Android Auto cable

I wanted my phone to sit in the cubby sideways and it was slightly too long with all of the 90 degree cables that I could find. This one had a slightly smaller bend in it. Although it's a 180 degree bend on it, rather than a 90!

The price of a home home charger?

Can you get one through the OLEV grant? I think ours cost £300 - £400 installed for our Ohme charger with the grant.

Rapid Charger - not what is says on the tin?

I've found that my second charge on a journey is always much faster than my first - I guess it's because the battery is warmer. I was hoping that the "battery heater" update would address this - but I've not heard good things about it. I was due to get it, but the garage cancelled the appointment.

Slow charge rate: Clarification from InstaVolt

The slow charging is why I'm trying to get the battery heater update. Dealer wanted nearly £200 for it though (2 hours work at their normal rate). I really want it done, and I don't mind paying. But I feel that's a bit steep! I did a string of rapids a couple of weeks ago, first one of the day...

    Cycle Racks LS & 5

I think they do a couple of different models. I got mine from DriveDen. It looks like this: Don't have a picture of it on the MG though, only my other car - wanted 1 rack that would do both cars!

    Cycle Racks LS & 5

No idea if it affects the warranty, but I do it. I have the "Peruzzo Pure Instinct", which carries 2 e-bikes. Managed to wire in a relay for a light board too. It doesn't obscure the license plate, but it does partially block the lights.

    Coldgate?

Managed to get 49.5 about 2 weeks ago at a rapid local to me. I was starting to worry, before that I had only managed about 30 or so!

Cycle Racks for the MG ZS EV?

I have put one on mine. I went with the 'Peruzzo Pure Instinct Rear Cycle Carrier'. It is rated to carry 2 e-bikes (although they have a 3 non-e bike version too) It rests on the top and just above the license plate and has 6 straps to further fix it to the car. They aren't my favourite way of...
