I find it works best with (left foot in my case) one long sweeping motion from left to right and with one quick smooth motion, and it works every time. If it's too slow or in a broken motion, and it will fail. It needs some practice, but it does save a lot of stuffing around when one is with...
Thanks to Spicyau and Dig3stor for the update and your registration date. So far we have 3 out of 5 is the batch of cars in June last year, which I presume is the first batch of cars after this new model launch here in OZ. Just wondering which batch are Andy998's and Bhubiz's from Nepal with...
Wow, another one. There seems to be quite a number of our Aussie MGS5 EVs. Perhaps everyone could post their approximate registration date, so we can estimate the batches of cars affected. I know most wouldn't want to disclose their VIN number.
As someone has suggested(another MG discussion place), it would be helpful if we can document the range of VIN numbers and manufacture date to see how widespread this issue is.
I'm with you on this. I still keep my ICE turbo car and take it out every now and then. Still enjoy that roar of the motor couple with the turbo swoosh between gears. But the MGS5EV just as swift with that linear power delivery that up to speed without one noticing😀
I actually never thought about the difference in drive mode. I always have it in normal mode and do get that split second of delay at the throttle the moment trying to take off especially at the light. This is one of the criticism of this car comparing to a MG4EV in particular by many others. I...
After reading comments from everyone. I do think if the car makes this sounds everytime when we lock the car will be a good feature, as lots of time after locking the car with the button in my case, as I walk away from the car, I have developed a habit of of checking if the side mirror folds...
In my case. I never used the key fob to lock the car, always press the button on the door handle to lock, and it still makes this sound randomly. So it's not the delay between the key fob and the car, if this is what you're thinking of. I imagine with the door's button, it should be physically...
Yes, the Australian model do have the USB plug near the rear view mirror. However, the external battery pack I have ( BlackVue B-124X Power Magic Ultra Battery for Extended Parking Mode Operation and Recording : Amazon.com.au: Automotive BlackVue B-124X Power Magic Ultra Battery for Extended...
I have successfully installed the Blackvue front and back dashcam connecting to a external Blackvue battery (see photos) which is connected to the 12V cigarette plug permanently in the middle compartment. Contrary to popular belief, this outlet isn't permanently on, as I have the Blackvue...
Thanks for the data off trick. I haven't got the car with me this weekend. Been watching all the reports of infotainment issues all over the net on different platforms. I will find out if I too have this issues later. But I did have issues with syncing with Home Assistant over the last 24 hours...
Looking at this thread, I feel comfortable that I'm not alone of scratching my car (front left panel) on the second day after picking up the car couple of months since.( Sorry for sounding not apologically as shit does happen 😮💨). I have since forgotten how bad it looks now, meantime will get...
Incidentally I was playing with turning on the AC before jumping into the car as we're summer here with 38°C today with HA, and it worked 👍pity the AC turned off once opening the door but that's issues with how the car is set-up with. But not sure about pre-heating. That I need to wait some 4, 5...
